When people specify “trucker” are they referring to a local [Carroll County] resident, or one passing through?

Where the girls were dropped off feature homes and businesses [across the street] which possess unobstructed views of them exiting the vehicle. It also looks like a smaller-than-normal, “yard road” where two vehicles going different directions, but towards each other, would be going slower than normal — out of respect and safety — allowing anyone in one of these establishments to see the girls moving rather slowly in the vehicle.

No cameras at the entrance, exit, inside, private property, and doing a heinous crime in broad day light. IMO, BG knows all their is to know in regards to Delphi, and I can’t fathom it’s from passing through once or twice.

I think it was a truck driver that was passing through. I do not think they are currently in Delphi or the surrounding area. But in order to know about the Monon High Bridge Trail this person had to learn about it somehow. Maybe this person likes old railroad bridges that are turned into trails? Maybe they like bridges? Maybe when they were younger they grew up in Delphi or the surrounding area? Or maybe from years of making deliveries to the Delphi area they became familiar with the location? Truck drivers often have lots of time to wait. Because it is a location that is accessible to the public, it could be any of those ideas. And this is only if it is a truck driver, because there is no actual proof that it is a truck driver.

I have always thought it was someone local, or at the least, someone who for whatever reason, was familiar with Delphi and surrounding area. I am not sold on the idea of the perp being a truck driver, but hey, who knows. Furthermore, I am not sold on it being a young person either...30+ is my guess.

On another note, are BG’s jeans tore on the left side? I can’t remember if we discussed this before...so many posts later. It’s been almost four years.

With all this crazyness going on at The Capitol, I've been zoning in on the average Joe's online who have been trying to identify the perps involved by taking the videos still shots and stablizing them. Trying to help the cause I post a comment like "It would be awesome if someone could help to catch The Delphi Bri*ge G*y Murderer of two young girls in this manner" hoping it might draw some curiosity to the video of BG that I'm sure many know nothing about. I'm really amazed at what these non professional guys who are computer nerds can do and how they explain that you have to share only the original video shot and what happens to the true clarity and what you perceive visually when those original still shots keep getting enhanced. I figured now is the time to mention this video and hope that some nerdy guy who enjoys this type of work could join the cause. I think I'll start adding the amount of the reward to my comments as that may draw in some interested parties.

I develop Deep Learning models for my job and have constructed models that take a low resolution image and reconstruct a high resolution version using a convolution neural network (CNN), I've assisted in two cases for a friend who is a police officer when she had poor quality CCTV footage. I did attempt using the frames from Libby's video of BG to enhance it, but unfortunately there's just not enough pixels. The video footage I've seen from The Capitol are of a much higher resolution/MP than the video of BG, so it's pretty easy to enhance those. Allegedly, according to Robert Ives, BG was only cropped out of the background of the main video which is why there isn't much detail. Unfortunately, no matter how advanced Deep Learning models become in the future, I don't think the video can be improved. There just isn't enough pixels.

A new video on the Delphi murders was posted on YouTube yesterday, Oz time (January 16) which contains interviews with Abby’s mother but mostly with Libby’s mother. They just tell their stories - it’s not a Q & A session. I found it very moving and hard to watch at times.

Start @ 12:16 through to 31:00
32:10 to 33:29
36:30 to 37:13
37:24 to the end

Libby’s mother gives her opinions on the initial search, tips and nearby property owners.

I’m not posting a link as it’s part of a series that won’t be from an approved YT source, and the above times do not include highly irrelevant, IMO, parts.

Ohh i posted about this yesterday but included the link, thats why it was taken down, sorry all!

That’s so great. Not sure any of them can do better with the video, but you are hitting an audience of curious and probably civic-minded people. More people need to know about this case.

I dont think she knows anything about it.. i think she was asked by paul holes or others.. I would also say that to get to the delphi part you have to pay money....
I consider this to be very ethically questionable .. the same as turning true crime into entertainment for money
It is very ethically questionable. Totally agree. Hideous.

Maybe this person likes old railroad bridges that are turned into trails?

This possibility can increased by the fact that the bridge is a high trestle railroad bridge- which in the small cult of train enthusiasts, can, well highten it's appeal.

As a side note, a park ranger mentioned to me once that a ruined "round house" in a remote New Mexico desert still gets rail enthusiast visitors. The public even has an easement to use a private ranch road to get to the ruins as they are a designated historical site.

So, rail enthusiasts travelling to and getting familiar with otherwise obscure sites does occur. I think, however, a downside to the rail enthusiast possibility is the age range of BG.

From what I have seen at the few model train shows I have attended out of boredom and the one co worker interested in trains, a good majority of train enthusiasts are elderly. Young BG as a rail enthusiast would probably be extremely rare in an already small population. Even the older BG would probably be considered "young" for the railway enthusiast population.

If the van was believed to have been involved I’m certain LE would mention it. It’s possible the identity of whoever was connected to it has long been known by LE as they reported everyone had come forward who were on the trails except for the suspect. But I don’t think they’d give the family a rundown of POIs, cleared or otherwise.

Or as that particular parking area was private property, it’s also possible it was someone connected to the home that was being renovated. We really have no way of knowing if it’s an important clue as KG only remarked she remembered seeing it.
I would think if a vehicle mentioned by KG were still under suspicion by LE the last thing LE they'd do is comment on it publicly. It could lead to vigilantism.

LE saying they talked to everyone out there that day except the killer(s), that could also be inaccurate. It's very possible not only the killer(s) haven't come forward but also some witnesses too, too frightening to come forward and tell what they know.

I just found it very odd that KG all those times that media had her recall her actions she didnt once mention seeing a vehicle at drop off. I would think she'd have been asked to clarify about it, by whomever was interviewing her.

I disregard both of the sketches put out by LE. So the age of the person who murdered Abigail Williams and Liberty German is undetermined in my opinion. In my opinion, in the video, he looks like an older man. I would think at least 50.

The real question is how is LE investigating this case? Are they chasing after the person in the 2nd sketch that we were told at the April 2019 press conference is the person responsible for the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German. If they are, then I think the only way this case gets solved is because there ends up being some type of DNA match.

After this long, is the killer not caught because it is just a matter of time before the right tip comes in based on the 2nd sketch? Basically someone knows someone who looks like that person in the second sketch and eventually LE will get a call with the right tip. Or is the killer not caught because the path LE has taken in this investigation is the completely wrong one, and it has inadvertently allowed the killer to escape detection as long as people think the killer is a young man with curly hair(2nd sketch)?

If you put me on the stand I would say it's the second.

I don't which one to believe. Both of these sketches came from 'witnesses' that didn't actually see the crime or the person in the area of the crime. I go back to Kelsie's statement that she saw a vehicle there that day but didn't give it much thought. Now she does pay more attention. But I bet that same mindset applies to those witnesses that day. They saw someone, among others, at the trail that day and really didn't pay them much mind. Like the others on the trail that day. Seconds after seeing him he was out of sight and out of mind.

The distinct differences in the sketches, IMO, are because of two possibilities: (1) proximity from BG; (2) BG was disguised — likely with a mask of some variation.

It’s bizarre we’ve heard multiple stories regarding how many people were out there that day, particularly after 12 noon.
— How many were A&L’s age, particularly females?
— Was the trip planned and/or announced via social media?
— Was the “hitchhiker” and/or abandoned vehicle/bag located, which is why LE no longer seek inquiries of, thus helping prompt the release of the “new” sketch?

The real question is how is LE investigating this case?

Though I don't know how the police are currently approaching the case, over the years the police have stated the following about the video and sketch:

- The video depicts the murderer and should be viewed "as is". Like you, I think the video depicts a man in his late forties to early 50s. I also think he is wearing common mid western layered farm / industrial / construction clothes.

- The sketch represents the murder and the sketch depicts a twenty something year old in a "hoodie" type sweat jacket.

- BG might have a blend of features between the sketch and the apparent features of the video. Likewise, his age could range from 20s- to early 50s.

- The video and the sketch are two different people. Though young BG is not thought of as the killer per se, we are very interested in learning his identity.

Without a license plate number or some very unique bumper sticker there would be no way to track the vehicle down. There is nothing Kelsie could have done to remember. Whether in a grocery store or out on a trail, we often do not pay attention. Our memories can be very selective. I wish I had gotten a license plate number too.

Can you please provide a source for the bolded? I remember your other points, but not this one. TIA

Left pic looks younger.
Right pic looks older.

Left pic looks like hair.
Right pic looks like hat.

I tend to think he's younger, mid 20's to 30. I think he's athletic. I think he's wearing a wig, or hat. Maybe both. I'm not sure about the hat. IF the second sketch is anywhere close to accurate, then he almost HAS to have some covering over his head. I see no curls.

In any event, I would say, if he was a family member of mine, or someone I knew, I think I'd be able to tell it was him in these photos.
