What are the videos some of you are talking about? TIA

No, it isn't. Maybe just said that way to differentiate from hln.com?
Yes, most likely. So many things that we have to specify these days because, well, there are so many things!

BBM. I lean the same way —unfortunately. I recently listened to a podcast episode of 48 hours that revisited the Yogurt Shop Murders, and one of the investigators in that case said something that really stuck with me. He was talking a bit about working with the FBI and said they instructed him to speak directly to the killer during the press conference. They told him to make confident threats like “we’re coming for you” or “we’re onto you” that would scare the killer(s) and possibly force he/them to act in ways that might reveal their identity. Retired FBI Profiler Jim Clemente has also spoken about this strategy in the past.

IMO, warnings spoken directly to a criminal is a tactic commonly used by LE to evoke a response that will arouse suspicion and lead to tips (e.g., the killer suddenly skips town, he drastically changes his appearance, and so on and so forth).

I think the following old adages might apply here:

“Those who know the least always know it the loudest.”

and

“Confidence is silent; insecurities are loud.”

I desperately hope that my leanings are wrong, though!

Yes, those old adages make alot of sense to me!

I’m thinking out loud about a three point reverse timeline, example:

1. Feb. 10 videos, ISP release, msm.

2. Dec. release on KAK/Shots.

3. JBC

* We always think about timelines in chronological order.

Let’s completely reverse the timeline. Z to A.

Eta: the more I think about this, I like this. Based on what I’ve learned from the covid threads, things are constantly evolving. If we reverse the order, it brings the latest everything to the forefront. In other words, I’m going to forget I know anything and go backwards, jmo.
YES.
Start at the beginning.
They interviewed KAK in the beginning, within 2 weeks.
Tobe said he has "heard that voice before"
Back to the beginning.
"Snapchat Murders" some called it.
I, personally, did not think so, but going back to beginning, I have changed my mind with clues from then to now.

JBC- a rule out?

I still haven’t watched the videos yet, JBC is a strong POI imo, has he been officially ruled out?

Not that I've seen.

I spent hours--at least two days--going through all his photos on Facebook and came away with a sick certainty in my stomach. No hard evidence, but just...everything fits. And I don't think the girls we know about are his only victims.

p.s. Hi there, how are you doing? I haven't seen you around for a while.

I just finished "The Yogurt Shop Murders". And LE had DNA from sexual assault. Gives me a bad feeling about this one.

Couldn't help but feel hopeful when I heard Carter say "we know a lot about you." Cautiously optimistic and looking forward to what else we may learn in the next few days.

While we wait, I wanted to share this short video from a reporter from Indianapolis new station WTHR that was taken on Feb. 16th, 2017. I had never seen this angle of the crime scene before (the tape is still up).

In this case, LE doesn't publicly rule anyone out.

well they ruled out DN...RL etc..so in this case they do publicly rule out poi's..mOO

Yes, I would say those are exceptions. They were found on RL's property. Not ruling him out publicly would do more harm than good. I would say it's the same for DN since it was a huge national media story early in the investigation and the public had a false belief it was solved. But that's two people out of what is likely thousands at this point and it's been years since they've talked about suspects in any meaningful way. And technically they didn't 100% rule out DN "As you all know, we went out to Colorado and we spent a little bit of time with him [DN], and he's not a person we care a whole lot about at this time," Superintendent Douglas Carter with the Indiana State Police said Tuesday. “Until somebody is arrested, we’re interested in almost everybody.”

Ron Logan gets four years for probation violations unrelated to Delphi killings
"Logansport attorney Andrew Achey ....."

Defendant (Kline) appears in custody and with counsel, Andrew Achey.
Indiana Supreme Court public access case search - MyCase

Other thoughts:
Ron Logan and Kegan Kline both use(d) the same attorney. (see links above)
This attorney would be privy to police reports, search warrants and inventories, and/or interrogations/questioning of both Logan and Kline, and a wealth of other information we can only surmise. Purposely or inadvertently, he has represented 2 high-profile clients in this case.
Logan spoke to the press, too, I believe. MOO

This honestly doesn't surprise me. If the attorney is a public defender, there are only so many of those to go around in a county. If it's a high profile case, they will often assign it to the most experienced person. If he's not a PD, it's also not too shocking. My cousin is a divorce attorney in a small town- he's represented about 30% of the the adult population at this point.

I think a lot of these proclamations are canned answers..just non answers, non committal. mOO

True, although the articles I linked quote this attorney saying he has been Ron Logans private attorney for years, in unrelated legal matters.

Anniversary of the killings of Libby German and Abigail Williams approaches and police renew the plea for tips
February 10, 2022 / source: wane

Kegan-Kline.jpg

Kegan Kline

* December 2021 - ISP released images from a social media profile for “anthony_shots” on Instagram and Snapchat

* Police said account had been used to solicit nude photos from underage girls

“Investigators are again asking anyone who may have communicated with, met, or attempted to meet the anthony_shots profile to contact them. For example, investigators want to know when the communication took place with anthony_shots, how it took place, what social media applications the account used, and if anthony_shots attempted to meet or obtain your address. Anyone with saved images or conversations with the anthony_shots profile, should include them in the tip.”

* Person linked to “anthony_shots” profile, KAK, is in custody and faces more than two dozen charges in connection with a child exploitation investigation

* KAK is being held in the Miami County Jail.

“Kline admitted to contacting underage girls on social media and soliciting nude photos, according to court documents. He told police he had about 100 photos and 20 videos of a sexually explicit nature.”
Iirc I believe that he rolled on himself pretty quickly which makes me wonder why. I’m wondering if it had anything to do with Abby & Libby’s murders, directly or indirectly.

Just my two cents.

On February 14, 2017, their bodies were discovered. The Carroll County Sheriff's Department assisted by the Indiana State Police, Delphi Police Department, and other law enforcement agencies continue to work diligently to bring this case to a close.

There is still a dedicated, multi-jurisdictional team working on this case every day, which includes two Carroll County detectives, two Indiana State Police detectives, and other law enforcement officers. Listed below are Statements from the Sheriff of Carroll County and the Superintendent of the Indiana State Police.

"We continue to diligently seek the justice so honorably owed to Abby, Libby, their respective families, and our dedicated, local community. We also continue to encourage the submission of valid and valuable information which will help us to attain the goal of justice for our precious Abby and Libby. Thank you to all who have come alongside us in our ongoing efforts."

- Sheriff Tobe Leazenby

“Working diligently every day with our county, local, and federal partners, we continue to give our very best efforts to solve this case. Abby, Libby, their families, and the Delphi community deserve nothing less. We also continue to ask for tips to be submitted, because one day we will obtain that one piece of information we seek…the identity of the person responsible for this senseless crime.”
- Superintendent Doug Carter
This is all the information that will be released at this time.''

If he deleted a social media interaction with Libby because he heard of the murders and had nothing to do with it, he would be on edge (since you know, he's an admitted child predator). So he's on edge, doing illegal things but not panicking enough to get rid of evidence... Yeah, that is interesting. It could be that he really didn't want to get rid of the incriminating evidence (because he's a sick F and I'm going to go out on a limb and say it takes a lot of time and effort to collect pics/vids) but once the cops showed up, he knew it was over. So he's stupid, but not that stupid. He rolls over quickly to show them "hey, I'm going to play ball with you. I'm guilty but not guilty of murder."
