Any pics will be much appreciated. LE said there are 3 ways to cross the creek; so far, we've only found the one he apparently chose. Most of what we've seen in videos is high banks along the creek and are puzzled as to how the girls got up out of the water.
There is the north bank shot from the western end of the bridge. The tree growth on the east end, even without leaves, obscures the view too much to really see anything. My video should be up on YouTube in a few minutes.

If LE were still interested in this vehicle, wouldn’t they still be mentioning it? For all we know they obtained the information they were looking for and it has nothing to do with murders, yet here we seem to have pinned it as the killer’s car even though LE never stated they believed that to be so. During the original PC they simply asked that the driver of it please contact the Delphi PD.

Their Multi-Agency Task Force provided the following points of clarification after Monday’s informational news conference:

  • A car was parked in the abandoned CPS building parking lot between the hours of noon and 5:00 p.m. on February 13, 2017
    • We are looking for anyone who could give a description of vehicles that were in the parking lot during the time
Indiana State Police releases clarification points on Delphi murder suspect

I agree with this. Another example of LE asking for help but, in my opinion, not giving enough info for people to understand exactly what they’re wanting from the public. If it was just a random car LE was hoping to identify, why make it part of an ultra dramatic, super serious press conference two years after the murders, but then again, LE hasn’t been very good at presenting things in this case, and it could be exactly what you suggest.
If LE does really think it’s the killer’s car it’s really hard to paint a scenario with it sitting there all afternoon. I guess that was my only point.

I cannot find anything on the late 2021 Peru house search. I've seen it referenced, but does anyone know when it took place or have a link about it?

LE might’ve noticed the vehicle parked in the same spot through CCTV, dash cam or even satellite imagery and so Le might’ve decided it could be a lead to someone who might have walked on the trails and know something, if not belonging to the killer. But as LE have never furthered comment, it could’ve been someone who parked their vehicle and was ride sharing. That doesn’t seem a likely location to me for the killer to park if he knew the area well and his focus was the bridge. The spot where the girls were dropped off, the cemetery or on the side of the dirt road under the bridge would all provide a much quicker get-away. JMO

The only source was a tweet from a FOX reporter and the source was apparently a neighbour. I’m sceptical because the media should’ve been all over the actual search warrant but nary a word officially reported by MSM.

Thank you! Wow, that's it? How did the neighbor know it was the "feds" even? Seizing the dog could be due to neglect or something unrelated, too. Wonder how old the dog is.

I initially thought LE was saying a vehicle was parked at CPS from noon to 5pm, that entire time, which I thought was weird. For me, it was hard to come up with a scenario with that car/truck/van sitting there all afternoon and, like you, I couldn’t fathom the killer walking the length of the trails in the open after killing two girls and risking being seen.
Now I think LE meant that a vehicle was parked there at some time between noon and 5pm. Another example of LE maybe putting out poorly worded information. Maybe the killer’s vehicle was only there 5 minutes or 20 minutes between those times.
Anyway, my thoughts now are that the killer pulled into the CPS parking lot sometime between noon and 5pm. Stayed a short period of time…doing something, maybe considering parking there but changing his mind, maybe stashing a phone he knew not to take with him…then left and parked either at the cemetery or farther down at Wilson’s Bridge.
Just my thoughts.

Here is a picture I took from the southwest corner of the cemetery facing up to the road. You cannot see the road at all.

Wow.
I just read through the transcript of the KAK interview.
That is a whole lot different than that tiny snippet they talked about on HLN. On TV it was only 1) I didn’t do it 2) I gave them DNA and hair 3) They are harassing me.
In the transcript the theme was pretty much all…LE thinks my dad did it.
Wow.

Thanks for this. I knew cars parked in the back of the cemetery couldn’t be seen from the road, but this is a great picture verifying that.

I agree, I doubt they’d have to seize an entire dog just to get a few hair samples, no more than LE would be required to apprehend someone just to get a voluntary DNA sample. The dog may have bit someone and been seized, on the other hand the entire story might just be someone’s way of inserting themselves into a high profile case to get their two minutes of fame. Since even FOX chose not to run news report on this happening I’d lean toward it amounted to nothing.

Oh wow, that's interesting. Not at all how I imagined it in my head. Thank you.

Wow--thanks for the photo! The overhead shots don't show how much the level changes in that part of the cemetery. This demonstrates it very clearly--thanks!

My pleasure! There are so many little nuances to crime scenes that simply can't be picked up on Google maps or are neglected in news stories/specials. I like to walk these places because I know I will walk away with a greater knowledge of the "how" and /or "why" of a situation. That was why I also made the YouTube video. I gained a greater understanding of how these girls could have been stalked, surprised, and trapped.

One thing that was interesting that I haven't seen in any news coverage is that 1) there is a road that runs parallel to a bout 50% of the walking trail and 2) the trail splits off 4/10 of a mile in just before you come to the bridge. This trail runs down a hill to the north bank of the creek south of the bridge.

In the interview transcripts, BM asks KAK for another interview the next day. I wonder if that took place.

Should we think this full transcript was released by accident, or on purpose?

At the end you said: "Hope you all enjoyed." That was the most nerve-wracking crossing I've seen. Was it as bad going back? Thanks for sharing.

I was getting vertigo just watching the video. Thank you for providing this to help us all get a glimpse of the bridge! Scary as he**.

So, it looks like it only took you about 3 minutes to get from the trail head near where A&L were dropped off, to the bridge. Then, even with all your pauses to show the area, it took you around 10 minutes to cross the bridge. Other bridge-crossing videos that didn't have pauses took around 5 minutes, so that's like an 8-10 minutes walk from trail head to south (east) end of bridge. It took A&L nearly a half hour to go the same distance. That depends on if the 2:07 SC photo was posted in real-time or later, but either way, they had been on the trails less than 40 minutes before the BG video was taken. What are your thoughts about what the girls might have been doing all that time?
