The unidentified BG is a murderer and a hunter of the innocent. He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, as a metaphor. He has nice enough clothes and physical ability. He came to the bridge, did the unthinkable and got away.

Trying to slow down and think about it.

He could be following the case at the very least, if not directly inserting himself into it, possibly here at WS and anywhere else wheels are turning and talking about HIM.

I think I agree with others that the killer must have known that he was being photographed. Why wouldn't he care? I'm very puzzled by this.

The video is pretty fuzzy, but he won't have known that. And look as I might I don't spot particular mannerisms either. I think he may have had a previous ankle or knee injury. Then again, he is walking across railroad ties. I wouldn't know, but is any of this slow-motion-rushing behavior military or similar training?

Libby was not standing directly in front of the man. The video was taken from iirc appx 70 feet away. It was then enhanced to create a closeup of the man which is why it’s very grainy. The man is looking down because of the space between the ties and some are missing or rotted.

There’s been a great deal of speculation about how she captured the video and we don’t know for sure. But iirc on a prior Dr Phil episode featuring Libby’s grandparents they thought she was holding the cellphone close to her side and was making a sort of sweeping motion to capture his image. If so, it’s amazing she was able to successfully obtain a shot of this man.

She’s been hailed a hero by police for her remarkable endeavour and having the foresight to capture this important piece of evidence shortly before her death.

What I mean is the method of the attack. Confidently sweeping in on two able young people, gaining control, getting out of sight and then what appears to be quickly murdering them.

Agreed - some have speculated that BG might have even been taunting LE which led to the PC which as you stated seemed like a direct message to him; I still think it’s odd there was no mention of the reward at this PC.

I think leaving out any mention of the reward, was likely intentional.

Include that, and you’re just setting yourself up for false tips and frustration.

Most of the tips they are receiving are likely pure garbage anyways (social media comparisons, investigative strategies), so they don’t want to encourage any more nutjobs with financial motivation.

Despite a five year difference and a six hour drive, I believe when this case is solved; the case of Lyric and Lizzie is solved too.
Time will tell, but I'd say it' more than a chance.

Interesting that you should say that as I have been pondering the link between Lyric and Lizzie and Libby and Abby. And not that I want to disagree with you, because I don't really know what to think quite truthfully, but I went the other way.

Upon seeing the new drawing of the POI, I immediately discarded any link. I see a much younger person and if it turns out to be someone in their very early 20's I'd have a hard time linking it now whereas I had definitely put the two together previously.

I hope I'm wrong because I would like very much to see both cases solved and those responsible put away forever.

That’s the benefit of having a weapon. I’m confident that he came armed, and what he ended up doing, required no particular skillset.

I don't think he knew. Kids are so good at getting video and pictures of people without them knowing. I think if she wasn't trying to hide the fact she was filming him, it would have been a better video. If he had seen her videoing him, I think he would have taken the phone or deleted the video. I agree with your points. Also, the video was shot from so far away (the reason it is so grainy) while BG was looking down at the railroad ties a good bit of the time, that he may not have noticed the phone. I don't believe it's been released to the public at what point in BG's approach LG put the phone out of sight. I think it may be possible that he didn't see it, or as you said, he forgot about it. "Out of sight, out of mind." MOO.

I think he may have been so focused on what he was going to do and crossing the bridge safely at a pace that he didn’t realise what the girls were doing. I imagine he must have felt a rush of adrenaline and his heart was likely racing. It isn’t pleasant trying to imagine being this monster.

Hmmm, if he knew he was being recorded and forgot until after he left the scene, he might be even more inclined to join the searching, hoping he could find the phone before anyone else. Imagine if he’d been able to slip it in his pocket and we’d never even know about it!

The white area is connected to a building in the top corner, although it’s quite a dark colour and bends into the background. It looks like white things are a group of pipes, maybe air purification for some sort of industrial plant.

I know that there are people that don't believe this way but I believe one day he will stand before an all knowing God. That knows everything. He can't hide. He hasn't gotten away with anything, because he will pay one day. And pay much worse than what can be done to him on this earth. MHO
