Any chance he did something similar to animals? Any history of animals barbarically killed in that area during these years? In the same manner?

or other assaults, attempted abductions, attempted molestation or sexual assaults of children/teens/adults? Including stolen garments, stalking, flashing etc...
I would want to review all crimes/reports for the past 20 years.

He is not going to confess. No way. Not in a million years. Moo.

nope, I highly doubt it also unless he has a real coming to Jesus moment.

Pages nine and 10 but I can’t ever see which post numbers. There are only a few names on those pages. That should get you started
If you’re on your phone turn it sideways into panoramic view and you will see the post numbers next to the LIKE button.

Because the recent public meeting and "change of direction" gives them the same feeling it gave me....they are close. They likely even know who it is and are looking for more evidence to cement the case in court.

The one panelist (paraphrasing): "if there's not an arrest in the next 3 weeks then I think this press conference was a hail mary and they have nothing".

This is my biggest fear.

I heard them all say that they think he’s close to being arrested, but I can’t see anything that convinces me of that. It came across to me as waving the banner, supporting LE, which I absolutely support, but to me it rings hollow. MOO, and I sincerely hope I’m wrong.

Agreed. We've all gone over the reasons people do have for thinking that LE is close to an arrest. It just comes down to how you read the situation, which is fine.

I hope they're close. That's all I can say.

JSM : Certified Death Investigstor and Professor “wonders if the FBI has assigned linguist” to detect the accent now that they have a larger sample and thinks this could go a long way to getting this solved.

Ohhh, maybe. Do you think they were involved in some way or just saw younger sketch guy on the trails that day?

MOO
I have been speculating on why a sudden PC called. I would like it be because they seemingly gained new evidence, but I know it also could be that old evidence got invalidated. MOO - to me feels like new evidence not a setback. Just MOO.

CG saying use of ““Guys” suggests a younger suspect” and JSM nods in agreement (I disagree that this is indicative of this, moo). She said someone in their 20s is more likely to use this phrase, or maybe “he even knows them you never know” and that’s why he said “guys”. Again disagree, moo.

Haven’t they always had a larger sample though?

HLN Delphi Special:

Relevance of “The Shack” being brought up at the presser by Superintendent Carter:

Movie is religion based, and appeal might have been made to a religious suspect.

“The book,” may have been in reference to the Bible.

All panelists think they are close to an arrest.

May be working on forensic genealogy (God I hope so).

“He’s going down, and I think it’s going to be soon.” -Former FBI agent.

Wow. That is a really encouraging statement from the former FBI agent.

You don't need the moderator's help-- I'm quite familiar with the gruesome facts of the case and what you're referring to. All that I'm implying is that you're jumping to conclusions that this was premeditated AND sexually motivated with really no factual grounds. What's *implied* isn't necessarily the case. Any links to the profilers you're mention would also be greatly appreciated!
<modsnipped> As someone has said, "Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is having a battle you know nothing about."

We are all frustrated with this case, and in the thick of discussion, it is sometimes easy to lose sight of the fact we are all on the same side, wanting justice for Libby and Abby.

To the great posters and mods on this board, thank you for caring about those who cannot speak for themselves. Your dedication to finding the truth shows there is still goodness and light in this world.

And now for the required disclaimer:
MOO MOO MOO

After the commercial theyare going to talk about “what is life like for this killer now after being “provoked, poked at during this press conference ...called a coward...what are they thinking now? We’ll talk about it.””

Going to break but showing Carter saying at 2 year anniversary PC: “If you’re watching we’re coming. If you are watching, we’re coming. This County of Carroll and all that has happened here and all of the sadness associated with this county is unacceptable in a civilized society.”

Invalidated is a great choice of words.

Why be so blase about the two year anniversary press conference and then WHAMO special press conference called and sorry folks....BOOM, CHANGE OF DIRECTION! Something HAPPENED to make that happen. SOMETHING specific. How can anyone NOT believe they found something that could wrap this all up????

Is there a forensic tool that can analyze and match voices? For example, if a suspect had quite a few videos uploaded to the internet, could those be analyzed against BG?
