You are absolutely correct. I just looked at the still photos from the video, BG has short legs. Some people in the past had speculated that he was not wearing his own clothes because they looked to big on him. I think what made them look to big on him was possibly a short man wearing regular size clothing.

Yes, it is interesting that the initial size range, 5'6"-5'8", if I remember correctly, was later, in people's minds, widened - up, but now down. So KIK being clearly outside the range prompted many to think, 6 feet is not that far from 5'8". No one ever posted about 5'4". Is that because it is really an outlier for modern Americans?

I want to see the initial guesstimate by Gray Hughes. I think his was closest to the mark.

I have to wonder if he even noticed it while photo was being taken. If so, wow. But the change in appearance from earlier years really is different, increase in weight and hair, even eye brows lightened or ? At any rate, I am curious as to how long and how LE tuned in to this creep!

Yes, isn't it interesting how so many of these evildoers have 'crazy eyes'! His eyes look almost blue, but IMO it never should have been taken for granted on an eye (pardon the pun) witness's 'sayso) that his eyes weren't blue.

As a short woman and having a short ex, it is hard to find pants that have correct length and as I will have mine hemmed, my male ex would never have them hemmed and they gather at the bottom like BG's.

ETA I remember Israel Keyes telling investigators he didn't ever want his family knowing the details of his crimes, especially his daughter.

I suspect that many men who are 5'4" might wear shoes with thick soles or with inserts to add a couple of inches to their appearance. That could easily explain the height estimate starting at 5'6". MOO

I'm okay waiting until trial to hear everything. I want the integrity of the case to be maintained. I'd hate to think the defense could say that any potential jury had been tainted by the release of evidence.

Tmar, it can probably be expected that little information will come out at the Monday press conference. The state will be concerned not to reveal information that would prejudice a successful prosecution. I suspect we will have to wait for the trial and post-trial Freedom of Information Act (FOA) requests for more information from the investigation directly (not second hand information, or books about the case).

I would like to know what work he was doing, specifically in July of 2012, when Elizabeth and Lyric were kidnapped and murdered. If he didn't do it, I wonder if he was inspired by their murder to commit a similar crime. MOO

Agreed. It's only a six hour drive from Delphi to Evansdale.
