Questions: have probable cause established according to judge. cannot discuss it

Carter question, won't discuss timeline of events today, no sniffing now, I think he was crying earlier.

can't understand questions, someone asked about reward, won't discuss reward.

prosecutor: haven't closed door on investigation, continue to leave tip line open, will examine all info gathered, even new info, see where it leads, not often to seal legal filings, but because still open investigation, needed to seal them. must protect integrity of case, can't taint the case.

Between the sealed documents, what wasn't shared and the comments, it certainly sounds like they suspect additional involvement

I thought so too. The families were going to be spoken to prior to the presser. They may have broken down with the news that RMA has been charged with 2 counts of murder. If so, who could blame them.

they have to, i am guessing their solicitors office is already getting smashed with FOIA requests and if they don't hold one someone else will ask for one

so its going to happen one way or another

I'm sure the newspapers will file a motion to intervene and make the case for public access. Unfortunately I think the state has a strong case that they need to do everything to ensure the defendant gets a fair trial. The amount of publicity in this case is just truly extraordinary but they do still need to try to find an "impartial" jury to hear the case.

Well that was what I expected. We know just as much as we did on Friday.

We didn't know for sure what the charges were. Granted, we had a pretty good idea, but now we know.

The way they skirted the Kline question and followed up with a call in your tips, leads me to believe there is a link to them and possibly others.

Prosecutor - Does not answer when/how Allen became a suspect. Supt. Carter - Would not answer if they'd spoken w/ Allen before as during investigation. Would not answer if tips, reward, police work or all 3 led to arrest. Both say it's part of investigation

The reason they are not releasing details is because the evidence is so solid they do not want have him claim he cant get a fair trial due to the bias the public has after seeing the evidence

They either have photos he took ,dna , clothing or all 3...hes feekcked. Thats the reason the DA keeps saying he is presumed innocent.. several times he said that...but..the sherrifs are all at peace with the case and arrest..THEY GOT HIM DEAD TO RIGHTS !

My feed is fine. His constant sniffling and stumbling over words makes it very hard to understand. For something so important they really should have gotten someone who is a better speaker and can keep it together.

Yes surely any lawyer worth their salt is going to argue he won’t get a fair trial with the amount of publicity in this case?

Well, considering the influence this case has had in the community, they’re probably just doing so because the outrage could be dangerous. Imo.

This is really important - today is not the day for details concerning the arrest. Today is NOT that day. Investigation far from complete. Won’t risk integrity by releasing documents or information before the appropriate time. PCA wis sealed and not available. Asking for your patience and understanding while system of due process works. All arrested are presumed innocent.

A successful conclusion = a guilty verdict.

Regarding the Ks, he denied comment because he said they are part of the investigation.

Honestly, they shouldn't have opened the floor to questions. Why ask for questions from the press knowing you can't answer anything? That leads to the frustration more than the not answering stuff.
