I wonder what information a body language expert (like Dr. Lillian Glass) could gather from the released photographs of the suspect.

Wow even still? Surely these must be old folks revisting their glory days albeit in a haze.
Nope. They're the new young hippys. I've heard some referred to as "crust fund kids". They travel, don't work, yet they have iPhones, and $ due to their parents.

I'm not even trying to say that about BG, just that people do still hitch. It's awful.

You never know. There was another incident the month before in 2014.

March 31, 11:53 a.m. - Burglary, 5858W. 300N., Delphi. RL reported forced entry into his residence and property taken. Maj. Tobe Leazenby investigated.

This is what I've been curious about. Vagrants and squatters treat nearby homes and businesses as their own personal department or grocery store. They either have no money or just do not want to be seen in public shopping. I think this is the case with this POI and the reason no one local appears to recognize him. I think he split right after the murders.

I make Case Maps and believe me they can matter, or I wouldn't do them. Not only can they be a valuable tool to help piece a puzzle together, by giving a good perspective of a crime scene and the surrounding area, locations and evidence finds. I include links, pictures, articles and even videos. A Case Map can tell a story. I've had family use my maps searching for a missing loved one, I've had requests to make ones for searches. They may not always matter too much but sometimes they do.

I don't know if your question was directed to myself, but thought I'd chime in anyway :)

Do you ever teach on how to create case maps? If so, I'd be interested. Yours are amazing!

Good idea Ms Glass is excellent and often helps in cases.

Great job there is one that was missed that I found the link is below

http://www.indystar.com/story/news/2017/02/10/17-year-old-girl-missing-trenton/97754562/

also... I've said this before and I'll say it again until I'm proven wrong but this one, and the Breanna Nicole follow the NS railroad and they go in date order east to west and head right into Delphi for the 2/13 murders. Also Breanna was last seen at a park with the same type of geography as the Delphi murders JMO something seems off
Plus at least a couple of those girls left all their belongings behind. I would think that most people would at least take a couple of items if running away. It is very worrying how many are missing in the area. Even if they have a history of running away or are having problems at home it does not mean that they run away again. Very ominous

Good morning to everyone :sunshine: (or good afternoon & evening to others).

Hoping that today is today this monster is caught, but even though patience is not one of my virtues, no matter how long it takes, I am committed to follow this case through to the resolution.

This horrific crime has brought out the worst in some people (people in general...not here) and the pettiness, wild accusations, and mean spiritedness can at times really bring me down IF I choose to focus on it. That's why today, I am focusing on all of the good we've seen from people in the days since this crime occurred. Hundreds of people (if not more) have stepped up and donated whatever they could to the reward fund. Also, in a show of solidarity, citizens across the state of Indiana have been remembering the girls by putting an orange lightbulb in their outside light since that was the girls' favorite color. Those are just 2 examples, but you get my point.

:tyou: to all you for sticking this out with me and for caring so much about Abby & Libby. Happy sleuthing!

Breaking: Just got a tweet that murder suspect Alex Deaton was reportedly caught in Kansas (I have no idea which crime)

He shot and killed a woman. Mississippi I believe

Two killings in Mississippi

Yes, his nationwide crime spree is over. He was captured in KS. In case anyone is interested in his WS thread: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...-Bridges-Deaton-captured-in-KS-Feb-March-2017

This link provides a good reminder of why we shouldn't post our opinions on who we think is a suspect. It could ruin an innocent person's life and your financial life. Tread lightly.

Agreeing. SM was ruthless yesterday. I couldn't believe what some people were posting (and probably still are). Very premature and immature.

Really makes you appreciate a place like this where you don't have to weed through that bs.

Jmo.

No, not really. I've offered a few tips before, it's really not as difficult as it looks, I taught myself through practice. I'd happily show you how to do it when we both have free time.

How long was this Alex Deaton person on the run? None of the links I've found say. Kind of OT, but I'm trying to find something to keep me positive in finding BG.

For reference, skibaboo put together a case map with locations as well as links to articles, pictures, etc. located on the media/maps/timeline thread

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?329965-IN-Abigail-Williams-amp-Liberty-German-Delphi-13-Feb-2017-*media-maps-amp-timelines&p=13190894#post13190894

Skib's map is wonderful! One of the articles last night also mentioned that a SW was served in Lebanon and was also supposedly a dead end. Could a pin be added to the map for that? They didn't give a street name.

His nationwide crime spree started on February 24th I think.

Just finished the last thread and getting started on this one but there was a lot of discussion of SnapChat so here is my .02

MOO

My kids have snapchat, I have snapchat, cousins, aunts, uncles, even grandma has snapchat. It's very popular and a fun way to stay connected with friends or family near and far. You can post things for everyone to see on "My Story" or you can select individual contacts that you've added to send snaps to that are then not viewable by everyone except those selected. It does tell you who has viewed your snaps either way.

Anyway, IMO - I am pretty sure the pic of the suspect was random and someone noticed him in the background of one of her snaps before things went wrong most likely on her story since you can replay those (individual snaps are only replayable once immediately after you view them).

Now my point (finally!) -- I think if she had purposely noticed him and thought he was creepy at the time and took the snap of him on purpose, she would have added text and colors/circles etc something to the effect of "OMG look at this creeper!!". It is very common to add text and smilies and there is a way to draw circles or arrows etc with your finger. I really think she would have added some flair at that point if it had been taken on purpose. Almost every snap I get from the younger set they have added text and smilies.

IMO I think the audio clip is from later and under duress at that point.

Ok back to reading.

Oh. That one was not on my list. Thank you.
