Geeze..Walking in this video is very similar to the BG. He holds his head in the same way.

Incorrect. I triangulated from the toe to the shin midline then straight down to where the heel would be. When you are mis stride the toes of the push off foot are still on the ground as well as the sole of the landed foot. I can assure you the measurement is from the flat foot. The head measurement allows for a hat. He could be 5' 11" whe you allow for his head to be rolled back to a forward looking position.

OK. I notice that the image you chose to use is the blurrier one but the front foot looks clearly up and off the bridge to me. When Iook at your measurement scale of 4 inch segments, it is set next to the front "up" foot, so this is confusing and it does not look like it is flush to the track. The other image of the suspect is clearer and you can see the foot easily and generate an extrapolation measurement from that.

Why are LE letting this go on for so long...
RL is not BG.
What are they trying to achieve here!

That they have the right person or persons and that they've carefully collected evidence which will prove it beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law and that a slick defense attorney can't poke holes in it is my guess, but MOO.

Abt the 1 minute mark (RL's dog).

Oops, not the one being looked for. But it does show his dog.

That's it!!! That's his little terrier.

I found no video evidence of a path worn into RL's land in my brief online search. I also could not find the map posted by Nin or the discussion about the path.

To to anyone who posts here could you please provide this information if you know how to locate it? Otherwise it's only rumor.

Here's the map by Nin w path in aqua.

There is definitely a video when it shows his dog running down a path down a hill and then shows him and the neighbor walking back up a path to the top of the hill. Might be 2 different videos, but I saw both. Probably can find them in the media thread. Just start watching the videos with RL in them.

How much of that trail is from LE going back and forth from the crime scene? They probably set up sifters, etc. and made many trips back and forth up that trail.

Thank you! That's very helpful.

Assuming he didn't walk to and from the park, what are the possible locations for a vehicle? No one reported an odd vehicle at the drop-off location, so presumably the vehicle was parked somewhere else. What are the possibilities for where the vehicle was parked? Assuming that it was a random encounter that led to the murders, the vehicle would not have been in a hidden location. If it was a planned encounter, the vehicle would have been in a hidden location.

What are the most likely locations for someone to park a vehicle for a day visit in those two scenarios: random encounter, planned encounter?
I would assume the trail head that is next to the foot bridge that goes over HWY 25.

A bit O/T, but for all of you who have followed other cases on WS: I assume 36 threads before things go off the rails and turn into Lord of the Flies is pretty good, right?

I just ugly-laughed for real.

Scared the dog.

Lord of the Flies, indeed!

Can't you buy tropical fish at normal pet stores also? I'd imagine Lafayette has Petsmart, etc. also. Aside from niche pet stores that cater to tropical fish owners.

I went to the bridge with this picture. I was able to recreate the image by sitting on the last platform on the SE end of the bridge.

Thank you for doing that.

Way back in the beginning, I saw someone speculating that maybe Libby lost her balance, causing the pic to tilt. I never considered she might have been sitting down.

So I thought I'd revisit some early media reports ( specifically to see if that was Abby's jacket in the BG photo)

And I came across this

http://www.wthr.com/tags/delphi-indiana

Looks like to me WTHR released the photo . And then did some poor editing., weird .,

I'm convinced that was Abby right in front of him, otherwise why the blur.
I just took a pic of some birds today and part of my shirt somehow got in the corner of the pic.
Looked a lot like this. Could well be Libbys shirt.
I do believe it's Abbys shirt though as it makes sense why Libby (further ahead) was able to take the pic then hide her phone without him seeing.
Just giving another possibility

Possible. But you wouldnt buy koi from a tropical fish store.
When my dad had his pond dug in southern indiana, he got all his fish from the local farm co-op, including 4 baby koi that quickly grew to over 2ft.

Maybe he was reffering the fish store as the closest co-op?

I bet it's this store .

They are quite " famous" even in Indy for their quality and selection

1. Sunset in Delphi Indiana on February 13th was 6:19 pm... Police were called at 5:30 pm. According to accuweather data the high that day was 43 degrees with a low of 27. I would be surprised if the suspect ever went back to the bridge after he walked the girls off of it. JMO We know from reports that by approximately 4pm family members were in the area actively searching...

2. We have no way of knowing if the suspect had a vehicle or not. LE has never mentioned that they even thought there was one.

3. Last known location ( by us not LE ) before the abduction was on the bridge at 2:07pm.. abduction could have taken place any time after that ( based on the very limited info the public has)

4. There is no way to know when the girls were killed, LE has a pretty good idea based on autopsy results I'm guessing. JMO but they were not killed in broad daylight between 2:30 and 3:30 pm, I think they were hidden and killed later.

Hope this helps.

This is a genuine question, not arguing.

Why do we think the suspect walked them down from the bridge? Have the police said they know for sure the bridge is where the girls met up with the suspect? Or are we just inferring that from the photos and "down the hill."

Just looking at the picture was there a car and this man looking? Anybody please explain if there's a car involved in the crime? Can a car drive under that bridge?

Could be, but usually someone only has to meet with their probation officer once a month, not usually two days in a row.
I'm sure LE has spoken with RL's probation officer and they know the last time he met with him/her.

The tropical fish thing has been a curiosity of mine as well. I just checked, and there are two tropical fish stores located in Lafayette, Indiana. I would think that LE has checked with those stores and spoken with employees who may have waited on RL on 2/13, the day he claims he went to buy tropical fish. I would think that LE would ask RL is he had a store receipt for the fish to verify this alibi also.
He'd be on camera also. LE would know and have verified his alibi. Like the last transcript said..they have a strategy...a plan...they are keeping what they are up too and info they have very very quiet. They do not need BG knowing what is going on. I believe there will be an arrest soon. They are just making sure their case is airtight

At the risk of being silently stoned, I know there was some discussion about BG being possibly photoshopped onto the bridge, suggesting the actual photo was taken somewhere else. There was reference to the amount of blurring (don't know the technical term) and his feet looking a bit "off." Please tell me if that has been debunked and I'll delete to avoid another rabbit hole :)

I was just reading through some of the earlier articles and looking at this image again, which reminded me of that discussion. I am likely splitting hairs here but is the bridge itself considered part of the trail? Would it make sense for LE to Photoshop him on the bridge for any reason? Protecting evidence only the killer knows (i.e., he was never on the bridge, girls were confronted at the creek or cemetery, etc)? Anything else? Or very unlikely and wouldn't make sense?

If RL is innocent, I don't think his going to town on the 14th is odd. He would have had no way of knowing his property was soon to be involved and his age, perhaps his health, may have precluded him from searching, which can be a physical business.
