I just don't think it's possible to accidentally murder two people. And cover it up so successfully (as it seems so far anyway!).

<modsnip> I never said I believed both were accidents.

Frankly, no re SA and yes wrt to RL if my theory is anywhere close to the truth.

Someone may or may not have been drinking and I think there may be a good possibility they were.

Anger>confrontation>accident>murder>coverup

If I remove accident from the equation, it gets darker for me but it doesn't make me change my opinion on how and why that much. I do not believe this was a first confrontation or that those girls didn't recognize BG.

Watch the presser I referred and linked to earlier with Riley, Delphi COP and Sheriff Tobe L. Someone asked about discovery of the girls and whether they were covered or out in the open, or words to that effect. Watch the faces of those three LEOs when you listen to the response. It made me think they were covered and something about how the bodies were found was disturbing. That was my take, but I may be way off.
Fascinating.
Sorry, what is "presser"?
Yes, anger/rage can be a huge component. You are making me think outside my box.

Which highway do people think he was on? He couldn't be a trucker because no one saw a semi parked in the area where the bodies were found.

I'm going to assume that he made sure he could make a quick getaway after murdering the girls, and that is why he had them walk to that location before murdering them. He must have been parked nearby.

Were the girls dropped off at the North end of the park?

Can I ask a very stupid question?

Does anyone remember that when LE found the bodies of the girls, they said that initially they didn't know if they were looking at a crime scene?

Perhaps the girls were clothed and placed curled up together to look like they were just sleeping. Maybe the clothes in the creek were BG's and he left as the Man in Black just like he started. His black clothes could have been under the jeans and jacket. MOO

Is there a way to figure out the time distance
Say, walking from point A to B in any maps or has anyone calculated speculated. From last photo to where bodies found?

I think video 3 includes the footage, but I don't have a link ... let me see

Have you watched the Julie Melvin videos, specifically 2 & 3? She demonstrates that it is remarkably easy to go down from the bridge, down to the creek and right across from the crime scene.

No ravine, no steep creek bank, no back up the other side.

I haven't watched these yet, but this was posted earlier today.

Did you see the two of them in a split view?
No. I had no idea a split view existed?
Did I mention that I am a neophyte here, lol!

Just because LE is silent that does not mean they do not have a POI. I think it is a very active case with a lot of theories of what might have happened. JMO
i think they are quite because they do have a POI.

Is there a consensus regarding whether the girls were at the North end of the bridge when they photographed the suspect approaching them?

They were at the south end. The pictures of BG are showing him at a very specific place on the bridge (the tree behind him on the left is very distinct and easy to find in videos and pictures). Also, he is walking south, according to the sun direction. The girls were further south than BG when they took that shot.

Do you feel that there could be another scenario somehow?

Well written.
And that forked tree is like a puzzle piece that snaps into place BG's precise location on the bridge.

Does this look right?

No, I don't think it is right. The bodies were almost due south of the cemetery, if I'm reading Nin's maps correctly.

ETA: Does someone have a link to Nin's North/South oriented map from yesterday? I have it saved on my PC but don't know how to post it here.

ETA: Map added to my next post.

Not at all. I'm just trying to map the locations so I can better visualize what happened. If they took the photo of him on the SE end of the bridge, then they were facing North when they took the picture. Given that they were dropped off at 1PM and the photo was taken at 2:07PM, I think they were crossing the bridge for the first time, and were not on a "return trip" to where they were dropped off.

They crossed the bridge, photographed him, and were abducted. If they were abducted on the SE end of the bridge, they were walking from the North, and they were dropped off on the North side of the bridge.

Go to go advanced then manage attachments. It's pretty easy.

"Sorry, what is "presser"?

A presser is a press conference.
