No that is an official van there with the search party. RL'S Ford can be seen in the news video from 3/10 parked next to the grain bin (which I have learned is not a silo). And it was stated in a court documents one of the probation violations was that he could not have access to a vehicle and he had the pickup parked across the street from his residence.

These images were posted many threads ago. As I understand it the only change is the colors are inverted.
It helped me see that the hair is covered in both pics. My opinion only.

The image on the right does appear to show a hood over his head. I am still confident it is not though, and what you're seeing there is a distorted image from the shadow being cast over his forehead/left side face and the image being so enhanced.

Look at the image on the left. You see the white "washout" cylinder shape above his nose, covering his forehead and seemingly wraps up around the left side of his head and face.. This is the shadow people are confusing for a hat in the standard color images. It really blurs the image of the standard colored shots.

Looking at the image on the left you can see his hair pretty well. There is a point in the middle where you can clearly see his hair kind of parts to each side.

Once you start seeing the bright white "washout" spot above his nose that seemingly wraps around the left side of his forehead/face/head. Once you realize that is a shadow, not a physical piece of material ala hat or hood, you immediately get a much clearer vision of what you're actually seeing. You can then see the hair on his head.


Again if you look at the image on the left.. You can see the outline of the back/top of his jacket. You can see either the opening of a hood or just the back of his jacket is opened up a bit, but it clearly shows there is no hood coming up over his head. If there is a hood, it is falling behind/below his head, not over it. And that at the very top of his head what you're seeing is hair. Kind of parted in the middle.

The image on the right is much more confusing as it's more distorted and does create an illusion that looks like a hood over his head. But when you establish the pieces again, just like we did in the image on the left you will see that it's just an illusion created by that "washed out" bright white spot above his nose, on his forehead.

In the image on the left you can clearly see that the back of his jacket/hood runs behind his head. The image on the right is distorted making it appear the back of his jacket/hood is running up the back of his neck and over his head.

That bright white washout image in these shots is the shadow that creates the illusion of a hat in the standard color shots. That shadow is what has altered the entire perception of these images.

It's like an optical illusion image almost. Your brain is composing the final image you see based off the perception that shadow is a physical piece of material.. Once you see it once, the shadow, and realize it's not a physical material he's wearing, but a shadow casting over his forehead/face area, the whole image is then viewed differently. You then see the hair on his head.

My input has very little significance, I strongly encourage people to study the images for themselves. Follow over what I'm describing and I believe you will see it. I'm positive his head isn't covered and he has a head full of hair.

Between 1pm and 5pm or so the wind speed was pretty much at around 13mph.

He does. He is quite tall and thin, looks like a runner, well over 6'.

Speaking of tall, in that piece a few posts ago with Alexis McAdams she seems nearly as tall as RL. I think I recall seeing a court doc that gave his height at 6'.

It was windy, I sure remember that. I posted earlier that I drove to Burlington that day around noon and my Jeep was feeling the strong breeze! It was a beautiful sunny day. I wanted so badly to put my windows down, but it was just a tad bit nipply still.

I respect the fact that people who personally know RL are silent considering LE has stated numerous times that he's not a suspect. Whether he has a son or not, why do we care?

It's possible RL hired a farmhand who resided on his acreage or nearby and ran errands and drove him around.

This has probably already been settled, but I'll still add my 2 cents. I've had a few relatives in LE, and nobody has to be home to execute a search warrant. If the home is empty, the warrant just has to be left for the owner telling what was taken. MOO

Anyone capable of catfishing to the extent they could ip mask, and evade law scrutiny of the girls SM accounts, is certainly not going to leave evidence on cloud storage.

That is also a CSI vehicle with the utility bed. You can see that vehicle in several scenes in MSM videos, during this search it is in the drive near the garage and later it is in the field near the trees. RL'S truck doesn't have a box on the bed.

I imagine folks did call in after seeing him on TV, I also suspect that maybe he didn't initially tell them about his trip to the Transfer Station on 2/13, as well, but who knows? Obviously LE does, but the longer this goes on without any indication from LE as where the investigation is headed, or what kind of progress they're making, I tend to lean further toward the idea that RL is not involved. We will know soon, hopefully.

IMO The Warrant Was Served On RL because
Everyone called about him after seeing him on video and seeing the pic of bridge guy.

Yes, and no snark detected. I'm fine with differing opinions. I'm not fine with p/a baiting because life is too short. What was that famous quote from Abraham Lincoln? I think it's a good thing to remember. Others may not agree.

I've read and stated in the scanner thread that my opinion is there is absolutely no confirmation or proof it's related. It may be or it may not be, but it's an area where a lot of people have been. Anyone could've discarded anything. IMO, jumping to a conclusion that item recovered=SA just doesn't make logical sense to me. I'd venture a guess that LE collected everything they could find, and that much of it is probably not related to the murders. IMO

Interesting, because they looked dressed like normal teenaged girls to me, particularly if you view other photos of them that weren't taken on that day. IIRC, there is not a photo of Libby that we know of taken that day, just a description of what she and Abby were wearing.

We've had a few cases in my area of being "swatted", where some punk kid calls in and makes up some wild story, and SWAT shows up and knocks a door off the hinges, puts everybody on the floor at gunpoint, etc, before realizing that the whole thing was a hoax. It's extremely dangerous, and extremely stupid, but we must consider that in the midst of double murder investigation, EVERY tip is likely going to be taken seriously(at least early on), and there are stupid, sick, entitled idiots out there who will make up very believable stories to call in to LE just to play games.

IIRC, LE said the SW was issued in part due to tips; I'm totally stumped who would have a murder tip legit enough to have a judge sign the SW.

And what could that tip possibly be? No one has had any more info than what LE told the public... so did it come from someone (anonymous) who was involved with the murders?

I see your point and agree. But also on the other hand, many of us are at the point where we are thinking super far out of the box. There really isn't a lot left to discuss until we have any sort of update or information. I mean look at me...I've been staring at a blurry foot of BG for a while now.

So I can see curiosity about other people at this point. I don't think it's with bad intentions. /moo
