Don't apologise! Most of us are friendly and happy to answer questions.

The thread closes overnight (US time) because sometimes trolls escape from under the bridge and go on a rampage. They leave a huge mess for the mods to clean up the next day - some of the trolls aren't potty trained and nobody likes cleaning up their type of poop ;)

Trolls? Not certain If I know what you mean....

Speculation: What if the COD was slashed throats, some level of SA, no secondary crime scene, and the killer was out of there between 3 - 3:30 and on foot going a distance of 1 - 1.5 miles? What would that lead you to conclude, MB?

He had to been familiar with the area, that's the first point. He could be a serial killer that is newly in town because serial killers generally commit crimes the same way over and over and do not know their victims.
And he didn't have a lot of time so he had to have an escape plan.

It is pathetic that we must be so closely babysat by the wonderful Mods that the thread must close at night. I saw Tricia post cpl of weeks ago and mentioned all Mods were assigned this thread. I want to be trusted by Administrators. It is an honor to post here. Anyone can post rumors to Reddit or Fb groups.

Why can't members abide by the rules 24/7? We are not in Kindergarten. This is the only thread that must close at night, afaik. We must do better. Today is another day!

Given that the bridge is said to be 1300 feet long, the circle appears too small to represent a diameter of 1 mile, let alone a radius of 1 mile. Still, the map shows the easiest parking is what many call the private drive at the southeast end of the bridge. It would be interesting to know what portion of the drive is private (does the county plow to the bridge, for example), and whether kayaking, fishing, or hunting routinely park under the bridge. From videos, it seems there is plenty of open ground to allow parking and maybe even suggest it.

Just for reference 1 mile is 5280 feet or 8 furlongs. So the length of the bridge being 1300 feet, imagine 4 lengths of the bridge and that is 5200 feet, almost a mile. Jmo

That to me does look like a face on his shirt, thanks.

I've been trying to figure this one out before I posted it. This shirt to me seems to be either from NY PD Blue or GhostHunters, I'm not sure. I'm not a big TV show fan, so can anyone help me out here??

All IMHO: It doesn't really have that much value. It's not a good place for a building site, doesn't appear to be enough level ground. Even if a house were put on that parcel there's no road access, it's landlocked by RL's parcel to the north with road frontage. Can't use it for agriculture due to the slope to the creek. Tilling would cause soil erosion on a slope (thus difficult to grow/sustain crops) plus it would be difficult/dangerous for farm machinery to navigate. Maybe could be used for timber but 8 acres isn't much as far as timber harvest. Maybe could be used for hunting but it's also a small parcel for that. Maybe that's why he took a reverse mortgage on it, if he lost that parcel it wouldn't be a bad loss. All strictly MOO.

This is the link to the property that RL has under a reverse mortgage. It is 8.4 acres. Is the location important? Who, if anyone, would benefit from him losing this section of land?

This link directs to the plat of 8.4 acres at jeopardy of RL losing. Click on the plat to note who holds the deed. It is the parcel behind the cemetery and to the side bordering the creek. Is this the section where our girls were found? Or were they located on RLs land more directly behind the cemetery?

There is conflicting information online regarding the length of the bridge. According to Google (and GH, who posted the videos on youtube) it measures about 854 feet:

NIN, do you have the map that would show the property lines to the home who's driveway is under the RRB? TIA

Do we know how far the searching party went that first day ?

Surely it would not of taken long to know the girls were not on the bridge so you would of expanded outwards quite quickly.

That fits with the 850 foot length listed on the bridgehunter website:

You are absolutely right, my apologies. :blushing:

I was looking at the circumference in miles, not the radius. Happens when I'm sleepy.

IMHO, I think he is left handed. If that is truly a watch on his right wrist, that is common with south paws and I also believe I see a backpack or duffel bag on his left side as well. All common traits of a south paw.
