What method of murder would NOT be considered brutal? The fact that two teens were murdered is brutal. Any cause of death would qualify.

Especially one that sounds just like someone who's given media interviews, IMO. Quite a coincidence. The mother of all coincidences, IMO, along with the resemblance. JMO

Although I'm not sold on your idea, I do think it's the best we have so far.

Is the consensus BG is not wearing gloves? If they recovered the phone as I think they did there may have been fingerprints. It'd be pretty hard to explain your fingerprints away on the property of a murdered teen, IMO.
Don't know if this was meant for me (since I was talking of something else) but from the image we have my guess is that BG's right hand is not gloved. If BG actually handled Libby's phone and, more importantly LE actually has Libby's phone and it wasn't wiped clean, then it would be hard to explain your fingerprints on that phone unless you lived with, went to school with, or hung around with Libby. Of course, someone other than BG that was participating in this crime could have handled the phone but that would just be a different person with a lot of explaining to do.

There is a road that continues straight at the hard right turn on 625w on road leads to one home on the east side of the bridge, the drivaway travels under the bridge. There were police cars there on the east side on that driveway as if they were looking for evidence. That area is close to where the girls would have been when the image was taken of suspect. The road is hard to see on maps. Jmo
On the property map the road is still labelled 625W well after that hard right turn though as it crosses under the bridge. That's my point .

RE: the head covering.

I agree with others here it's a hat worn backwards, the dark area on the forehead would line up with the open area of a hat worn backwards. It appears to me to be tightly worn, part of the 'disguise' I've alluded to, whereby BG wanted as little of his actual appearance to be visible.

JMO of course.

I guess the problem I have with ritualistic killings is that I was alive in the early 1980s and clearly remember the Great Satanic Panic. Back in the day, when people all over the USA were worried about devil worshippers coming and killing their kids. Horror stories floated from community to community. In actuality, it was a panic, and nothing else. Despite what TV would have us believe, ritualistic and Satanic killings are VERY rare. Much rarer than what the media and entertainment industry would have us believe. Libby and Abby's murders could certainly have been "brutal" without any kind of ritualistic aspects involved. In fact, in most of those kinds of murders, the killings take place over longer periods of time.

I am a pagan. Rituals take a heck of a lot of planning and carrying out. And we like our privacy, not to mention our tools. This situation is not the kind I would expect to see a ritualist perform. He most likely would've wanted the girls at his own place-where all his tools were. He would have wanted to wait until he had everything in order and then would've taken his time carrying out the ritual. And then he would've hidden the bodies-not taken the risk of bringing them back to where he'd found them.

I have no doubt their murders were brutal and beyond horrible. I've spent the majority of my life studying rituals and religious experiences-to the point where I have a MA and PhD in the field. This just doesn't fit the profile to me.

All MHO, of course.

ETA: I would also like to point out that I have never actually met a devil worshipper, Wiccan, or pagan of ANY kind that was into killing. That belongs to another breed of people entirely. It's certainly not anything anyone I have ever met would condone. In fact, the majority of us treat children and animals as blessings and spend our time trying to protect them.

I understand exactly what you are saying. I have no problem with it. Except, these murders did take awhile to complete. Their deaths were not performed in haste.

Let me just say this. What happened in Delphi has never happened, to my knowledge, ever, anywhere in the world. It must not become a trend. I hope the AR remains sealed forever.

How nice it would be if BG brought a clear bag for his clean drinking water. Only, this criminal was not thirsty for water.

IMO, RL's voice and the "down the hill" voice sound about as much alike as a kitten purring and nails on a chalkboard. They sound nothing alike. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Did I say nothing? :D

Oh, and also I would like to add my daily opinion that BG is not RL. Not in the slightest.

:couch:

PS--I love my siggy. :giggle:

Nice convo over the past couple days guys/gals. Back to Lurkdom I go.

Let's see we got a knife, a gun, a catheter bag with tubing, a kill kit, and a dog in his jacket. Jmo
And rope.

You talk as if you know for certain exactly what happened. Did you forget to add "IMO"?

JMO..I think the voice sounds like a normal voice. I don't think he had any device to change it..my guess is he probably wasn't expecting his victims to capture him on audio or video.

I think he was finished in a matter of a half hour or less, total. And on his way. I think it was a sexual assault crime(s) and that he murdered the girls as quickly and efficiently as possible, and got out of there. Probably even before any alarms were raised.

And his Ford Mustang parked under the bridge for a quick get-away.

The voice sounds almost robotic, the facial recognition program doesn't recognize a face, maybe LE is dealing with something inhuman.

A robotic or synthesized voice? Seriously? No way.

My comment was offered tongue in cheek but these new pictures offered tonight with BG IN the woods have creeped me out.

Jethro, my response was badly worded to Otto, and I have gone back and corrected it. I meant to say "when they uploaded the photo" to the ISP website not when they "cut and pasted" it to the website. Certainly before you upload you have the opportunity to change the aspect ratio to get rid of that horrible skewing, and it bothered me that they didn't do that.

For once, I wasn't talking about his face issues, and probably just this once...

Thank you for trying to explain what I was fussing about. I fear you know me too well - it is always about every imperfection in those photos.
I just wish that what was released would have been a lossless PNG file of LE's working bitmap rather than a JPG so we would not end up with even more artifacts and distortions caused by the JPEG algorithm. But we have what we have and have to make do.

I agree, IMO. Just like video, the audio on a phone is highly compressed and this can add an electronic (synthesized) quality.

What is that in his left ear.

This morning I posted an image that seemed to be superimposed on a "woods" background that I found on ABC's website. (see my post earlier this morning, sorry I don't have the post # right now)

Anyway, I enlarged the photo to see if we could get a better glimpse of the perps face. I used Windows Photo Viewer, then the snipping tool.

Great Job NIN~~~I believe you are correct~~he is wearing a ballcap backwards. In the superimposed picture, you can see the "tab" or "snap" on the back on the hat. You can also see the bill of the hat in back of him.

What else I found interesting is that there appears to be something on his jacket on his left arm. (our right)

Sorry~~after I posted the pic,(it doesn't show as well uploaded to WS) you'll have to save it to your desktop or computer to see the "tab" or "snap" on the hat better.

I agree, IMO, if this were "ritualistic" it is a sicko trying to imitate something to get gratification. I ran across a person as I was researching people close to the family and the area that was a 30 odd year old male and had a facebook page full of his love of Twilight. Odd bugger. Doesn't mean every Twilight loving 30 year old country boy is a sicko perve child killer, but IF it were ritualistic I would be looking at men with odd out of place fantasies about supernatural things. IMO

*sorry, meant to reply to someone and I don't know how to fix it. lol

But, all those "properties" are owned by one person/trust.
That doesn't necessarily mean the road is private though does it? The point is it is still 625W and so people could park on it to go fish in the Creek or walk the railroad track without trespassing on private land if it is a numbered road ? Couldn't they?
