I'm not so sure the parents knew they were out there.
Were they even home?
Or at work.

the girls had been there before. i don't think there is any reason to doubt that their families did not know where they were. It was fairly close to where they live.

Agreed. I didn't mean to imply blame either. In fact, I meant to kind of stand up for parents who may not know what the heck their kids are up to. A&L's family shouldn't accept any blame that anyone might toss their way.

Bringing in a new photo....

A little background on what I've done. I've lightened it with Microsoft Office Picture Manager, then saved, lightened again, then saved, etc. etc. Throughout the process, I was enlarging to about 200%, snipping with the snipping tool, then saving, then repeating the process. At the very end, I adjusted the saturation.

Appears to be a better view of perp's face or at least 1/2 of it.

What also seems to appear is some type of patch in the middle of the hat. Similar to this.

To argue/debate over this photo is an exercise in redundancy. There are 0 identifying markers.

Now he looks like there is a face next to his face on the right. Is this the LE photo? I always thought he did have a mustache and goatee, neatly trimmed.
