This is something I've wondered as well, with the images being still frames of someone in motion it could possibly cause some slight distortions. What if he was turning/moving his head, even just a little bit..as you said, it could maybe make his nose look a bit different than how it actually looks.

I cannot see a watch. However, I am right handed, and when I wore a watch it was always on my left hand. ( to avoid spilling my tea when being asked what the time is ).

If I may, the watch theory came out when Nin presented her pics and you could see the light bouncing off that area which many felt coud be a reflection from a watch/watchband.

I think RL looks like he has a shrunken head. It seems too small for the body. Also, we have no scale or heights so we cannot go by that really IMO.

I hope Chook will post the link to the latest article where it is stated something akin to "you should see what we had to do to get that image" (of BG).

Agree. No height/weight was given for BG. The image was from a vid that was turned into a still.

I have given up looking at it now as I cannot see hardly anything that is being mentioned, watch, videocam, hair, hat, hoodie, rucksack, puppy (almost saw that one), scarf, tash, goatee, fu man chu etc. Only thing I get an idea there is a cig in his mouth, the side that has the sun on it. My two pennworth FWIW.

I see someone already posted the Carroll County properties map, thanks. What I find interesting is the property lines East of Highway 25 all run through app. the middle of the creek.

I am tending to think therefore the victims walked over to where they were found ( RL property) as opposed to have been intentionally dumped there. They did not have to be 50-70 feet into the property IMO. They could have been dumped right off the waterline, unless the killer was looking for more privacy (tight timeline?) or the victims just got away and were recaptured in that particular area or the bodies were dumped there approaching the property from W 300 N/ cemetery.

In the UK the boundary of properties along a stream are generally "ad medium filae" which means literally along the middle line. So depending on the Creek width (e.g. if more than 120 feet wide) the bodies could be in the water if they were 50-60 feet from the boundary. I am presuming the same boundary rule applies in the US which seems to be indicated by the property map boundary as you say. Could the bodies have floated downstream also perhaps, if they were near the waters edge? How wide is the Creek? It looks wide in the videos. Also, could the water have receded somewhat to expose the bodies by the second day, with them not being visible the day before due to the higher creek levels? AJMOO.

They were 50-60 feet from the water's edge.

He wasn't photographed/video on the bridge. Was that ever stated anywhere? I realize we have the photo. But they could easily "stick" him there after cutting out branches and such that are obstructing our view of him. (Them being the FBI or whomever).


That may be why no one saw them on the bridge at that time

Yes, thank you Jax. I meant the comment from the video. After I heard that (about how hard it was to create a still) I realized that trying to figure out much about BG's clothes/etc is pretty much useless. And to top it off, putting anyone's picture next to his (knowing this) is more an effort to make Mr. X (insert who you think the killer is) to fit a narrative. For example, seeing gray hair. :dunno:

Given that the height was not given and they had to create the photos is what leads me to believe that neither photo was taken on the bridge.That's kinda huge.IMO

That would do it. Considering other features, even tree branches, are fuzzy and distorted in the photo, facial features will not be exact either.

If LE had been able to determine any distinguishing features of BG, I'm sure they would've informed the public at the time the video was released.

I agree. Even the two pictures don't look like the same man. They're so different that people were actually speculating that each one was a separate man, wearing the exact same clothing! That's saying something about the extreme difference in opinions about BG's appearance, if someone is willing to entertain the idea that two men dressed alike and then stuffed their coats in the exact same way with a white thing sticking out the top.

Every time I think I can get onboard with a theory about the appearance, based on what is seen on one image, I can't totally commit to that belief, because the second image doesn't show the same thing. I WILL say that's not the case with the nose, though. It's either distorted in both pictures or BG actually does have a big schnoz.

I'm not saying there is no watch, just that I cannot see it myself. Also, wearing a watch on the right arm does not seem to indicate being either left or right handed going by poster's personal preferences so we cannot deduce much from this even if it is a watch IMO. The watch theory is what exactly anyway? That he is left handed?
