He wasn't photographed/video on the bridge. Was that ever stated anywhere? I realize we have the photo. But they could easily "stick" him there after cutting out branches and such that are obstructing our view of him. (Them being the FBI or whomever).

I have thought this also, they could have snipped BG's image from a woods or trail pic libby got, then pasted him on bridge for public to view it. Maybe had to crop out the original background?

I have had the same thought for awhile. Just doesn't look right. Jmo
There were articles early on ( no link ) first wouldn't say where the image came from, then insinuated it was a camera on trail, then admitted it came from phone.
Idk, seems from jump that local le missed on this one. Jmo

There are many MSM articles saying 50-60 feet, this just happened to be the first one I came across. The 10 foot variance isn't in reference to the water's edge, imho.

A volunteer searching for the girls discovered the bodies on private property about 50 to 60 feet from the water, not far from where Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, were last seen. The girls were reported missing Monday.

IMO Why would LE want us to think he was on the bridge if he was not on the bridge? Why would LE say that a crime was about to occur so Libby was taking that video? If this dude was walking in Wallmart why on earth would LE try and mislead the public? They want to catch this guy, not try and make a guessing game to the public. IMO this video, that was made into a still, was taken on the bridge aprox. 70 feet from Libby.

I'm not saying there is no watch, just that I cannot see it myself. Also, wearing a watch on the right arm does not seem to indicate being either left or right handed going by poster's personal preferences so we cannot deduce much from this even if it is a watch IMO. The watch theory is what exactly anyway? That he is left handed?

Nor am I. Was trying to clear up where that discussion started. And yes, the thought was if watch on right hand MAYBE he was left handed.

Given they have audio and the most sophisticated voice matching technology on the planet, I think the photo is one of LE's least important clues as far as identifying and arresting a suspect. Anyone who knows BG would recognize his stance, shape, clothing and voice. I'm also equally sure some people have identified him to LE. They have more video as well. They also have every piece of physical evidence, including the bodies, interviews and/or interrogation and know who has a solid alibi and who doesn't. This isn't 50 years ago before there were security cameras in most businesses, GPS tracking, cellphones and advanced scientific testing. IMO

Perhaps LE doesn't want BG to know at what point Libby was using her phone to record him. However, based on how he looking down (likely foot placement), I think it was probably taken on the bridge.

Walmart? The woods is more in line with my thinking. I'm not sure why LE picked the bridge, but they would have their reasons. It just fits is all I'm saying. They have never come out with height. Height is easy on a bridge with pre-determined lumber. Abby and Libby were not seen near the time of the crime. He was not seen. MOO please be kind

There is a Mejer store right at the juncture of Interstate 65 and 26 (which runs right thru Delphi). It is comparable to a Walmart. The closest Walmart would be in Kokomo.

There was a map posted threads back that showed the property lines, showing where the boundaries were for the properties on the south side, inreference to the residence whose driveway goes under the bridge. Wanted to see if they owned the whole driveway or it was a right of way. Jmo

I have looked at the maps as I was interested in your point and everyone saying it is a private road. The road is labelled 625W and near the bridge it is not the boundary of any one property but goes through the middle of several separate properties. If it has a road number (625W) then it wouldn't be a private road would it? Just a cul de sac? Just curious about your point, which is a good one, so trying to answer why people are saying it is private when it clearly has a road number shown on the property maps. JMO.

I'm curious if they looked through the video there. I'm sure this guy had to be in one or more of these stores.

Just two cases where LE raided someone's home and they didn't turn out to be guilty. Had LE had tunnel vision they would've stopped looking at their first suspects.

In my experience, even with cases that took over two years, LE continues to investigate and collect evidence. Not murder cases but we kept working and gathering evidence and I knew who the primary suspects were. Getting enough to arrest is critical because why waste time if an arrest isn't the goal?
