Girls went out for an afternoon with parents knowledge and met evil. The families are grieving privately and find it sad to be reminded of the relationships. May they find some consolation in their faith and in the beautiful lives the girls lived.

And may justice and not gossip be served.

I apologize if I am posting wrong, this is my first attempt and is in response to recent posts relating to image of BG. Another thought on BG pic,..when I look with a magnifying glass at this pic it looks to me like he is holding a weapon in his right hand and the image is distorted because it came from a video and movement. It looks to me like a black or dark big weapon. This is only my opinion. It's very frustrating examining the picture because it is so blurred. My opinion only.

That exactly what I see. There are some stray pixels to the right of the suspect in the image of him on the bridge. I have to wonder why police didn't convert the video stream to an mp4 and view it in a video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, where it is easy to select a frame.

ETA: I am constantly getting right and left mixed up, just corrected this

Loads of people walk with their heads down it doesn't make them guilty of murder.

People with bad eyesight ( me for example), elderly ( me for example), dodgy on the pins, bad knees, bad hips, etc. Probably these people may not even go on the bridge for that reason. All the pics I have seen of people walking the bridge are looking down, Abby included, so it proves nothing imoo.

Grieving a loss often involves anger and blame, so I think it would be a natural feeling to have, especially if the adults in one or both of the families were unaware that the girls were going hiking that day, and had not given consent. Although, it has been stated that the girls had hiked those trails before (not sure if unsupervised by an adult) so it is quite possible that this was a common activity for the girls, and they wouldn't have needed to ask both sets of parents/grandparents for permission. In either case it is sad that two teenaged friends can't hike a community trail together without being murdered. It shouldn't matter who dropped them off at the trail, the only person to blame is the murderer(s).

I've wondered if the adults were not aware, and the relative of Libby dropped them off where the girls wanted to go, but IDK. Just curious because I didn't remember the families appearing together and wondered if there is some blame possible.

I believe that Mrs. Patty, Libby's grandmother, and Abby's mother appeared recently. It was televised. I also believe everyone grieves differently. Abby's mother is still having a very hard time losing her only child. I see how talk of a rift helps. Imo.

And gunshots are heard often?

Why is that?

I can only comment on what I know from personal experience. Each poster will have their own life experiences.
Living in a rural area, hearing gun shots are not unusual for me. If there's particular gun, like a semi automatic that fires rapidly, I tend to notice that more than just a "pow" "pow" from target practicing, or hunting. I have commented to my husband that during the day, someone near here does lots of shooting. I do not know who, or why, but figure it's target practicing.

Yesterday, during the day, I heard the shots as I was outside. I mentioned to my husband that it was the same sound as I typically hear.

A few hours later, my son stopped by. It was actually him shooting at foxes that were trying to kill his chickens. He admitted he was target practicing during the day as he is on night shift at work now.

However, if someone had been murdered, and it's possible they were shot, I would not be able to with certainty that I heard the fatal shots, or what day I heard shots. It's just rather common to hear them.

I do not think Abby or Libby were shot, but of course I do not know that as a fact.

I think depending on how the bodies were left, it will tell more about the perp.

Recently in my area, a young man was murdered. Local rumor mill was how awful and gruesome the crime was. Later the young man's uncle spoke with media, and confirmed those details. It was gruesome, and torture was a part of the death. It was committed by MS13 members, and FBI knew immediately that gang involvement due to the condition the body was left. They wanted his body found, as it was dumped in the middle of the road! It was not buried, or hidden. For this area, we haven't heard of murders that were that gruesome. I have read about them on this forum though! It shocked the area, and the police detectives in this area.

This guy's throat was cut, and his tongue pulled through the cut. He was almost decapitated. His genitals were removed, his hands cut off, and he had been severely beaten and shot. Gang activity to this point in our area was drive by shooting, or shot while making a drug deal, etc. While murder is murder, this particular murder was just not something even the seasoned local LE had dealt with.

Actually, I think there are distinguishing characteristics about his face that he cannot hide. The nose is unique. So are the eyes.

Thing is I'm sure he does not look like that any longer.
Does anyone remember someone that looked like that before the murders....that maybe changed the way he dresses.
This qwas why I do t think they should have released that photo. They should have held on To that shared it with all law enforcement and rode arouu d looking for this man asking questions maybe made a composit sketch but not once that photo went out that man did t look like that man any longer. Jmo

There is no MSM link to my opinions on the cause of their deaths. The murders were heinous, atrocious and evil. LE describes the case as complex. I do not believe they crossed the creek. One reason for that belief is because it has been posted numerous times, including official graphs, that the water level was higher on the 13th. I do not believe the murders occurred where their precious bodies were located in a pristine area. (Bird of Paradise, my apologies for using the word pristine, again.)

Further, I believe there were more UnSubs than BG participating in the crimes, maybe the mystery man dressed in black and, quite possibly, including a willing female participant.
