since he currently is involved with the criminal investigation of the murders and he is not talking with LE, i can't see him doing a interview from prison where any answers could be used against him in a court of law. those interviewed typically have already been convicted of their crime.

I thought he was already convicted of his crime and that's why he is in jail.

**I've been overtaken by mistakes lately... this could be another one.

For those that also believe bg is a lefty, any ideas on this?

I haven't been able to follow along in a while, i hope i'm not rehashing something that's already been throughly discussed.

Well, that has been discussed here before but, heck, we rehash just about everything regarding this case as we don't have anything new to chew on!

I am going to sit on the fence about the whether he is or is not left handed. The outline of a gun would be a compelling argument, if that is a gun but we don't know. So, see where we are?:gaah:

Because.....what if he's not left handed? That makes people rule OUT 90% of the population. Someone could say, "Wow, Uncle Tom REALLY looks like BG and he was acting super weird last night, but.....he's right handed, so he's definitely not the guy."

:laughing: I got a little frustrated because yeah, I thought we had a new photo of BG from LE to get our binoculars out and analyse the poop out of when it was one we'd already done that to, well some of us had before getting totally sideswiped by the other ones they released.

Fwiw I'm totally creeped out by how much BG looks like my late husband in that pic, he doesn't at all in the other ones but in that pic *shivers*

On that note, May the 4th be with you and may TODAY BE THE DAY.

I hope this doesn't sound insensitive; but would you have called in a tip, if your husband were still alive? It's more of a rhetorical question to illustrate the point I'm always trying to make about how much this guy looks like someone we all know, and if there's no other supporting evidence, this guy's loved ones would have no reason to call.

I also suspect BG is left handed.

One reason is as you mentioned:

But also because it indeed looks like BG is wearing a wristwatch (reflecting from the sun) on his right hand wrist , and that is where a left handed person would wear his watch.

I wonder if LE in their databases are registrating wether a sex offender is left of right handed ?
If not they sure should start doing that.

Sorry to belabor this point but I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this scenario:

Imagine that BG does use some idevice to photo or video capture his crimes to relive repeatedly. Arguably he could reason that he should not carry a cell phone due to potential identification by cell tower pings. So he uses a non-cellular iPad, as I suggested in previous posts. Now if he returns home and connects to wifi the video will upload to iCloud or google photos if he has those applications and if they are active. The documents will be time stamped and geographically stamped. Is it a completely dumb idea to wonder if LE could cast a broad electronic search of the cloud space to see what media files are stamped on a particular date, say Feb 14, and a particular location like Delphi.

Barring all of my speculations, warrant and privacy issues would it be logistically possible to do this?

Again, I know I am offering zero to this investigation but I am very glad I found this group of people at Websleuths who have a passionate common interest of putting this monster away for what he did to Abby and Libby. It is cathartic to read everyone's ideas and to be able to present my own. Thanks

Just wondering..to go into the WPP, I would think it would be a very dangerous person/persons..moo..what do think?

If he's protected under a WPP he may not be in prison any longer, even though the records indicate that's where he is. Somewhere many threads back it was quoted he may qualify for some sort of supervised release program iirc. There's countless possibilities to speculate upon, if he requires protection. Maybe BG was a transient worker who he'd hired. Maybe RL has received death threats, from even the public. Maybe RL encountered BG and although he didn't know him, is able to identify him, when he gets caught.

I just had a random thought while I'm finishing making beef vegetable stew with dumplings.. as I was untying my bag of flour from the plastic bag I keep it tied up in, to keep it fresh longer... I'll be darned if it doesn't remind me of the white thing on the photo of BG... like so many people have said all along ...they think it's a shopping bag, and it really does look like it could be that.. the question is ...for what purpose? Was it to put over the top of his shoes to keep his feet dry? to keep his shoes from getting blood stains soaked into them? To keep the ground / trace evidence such as a particular type of soil or plant life from getting stuck within the tread of them? Or to hold items? To use to aid a suffocation? Ugh...im sorry... i hate to say that even... I'll just go back to cooking. just thought I'd bring it up

RL may have been sent to whichever facility can best deal with whatever medical issues he has. I recall his lawyer mentioning ailments, I think.

Very interesting thought! And your line of thinking aligns with my theory of motive. I don't know what the statistics are off the top of my head for homicides in Carroll County...of children, in particular. But I know it is, as one might imagine for the geographic location and demographics, very low (non-existent?). So, here you have two girls brutally murdered on a Monday afternoon when most of the world is at work (and kids would normally be in school). A few miles away you have four young sisters perish in a house fire ruled to be arson just a couple of months prior. No arrests, no suspects, no updates.

Without knowing cause of death or any other details, really, about how they were found, I am less inclined to think this was a sexual assault. Nor am I inclined to think it's a SK from out of the area. I do, however, think the killer(s) were not from Delphi. Perhaps not from anywhere within an hour of Delphi.

Getting back to your comment about high-security prison for RL, and the possibility of it being for his protection. Motive... I am new to discussing the case online, so no idea if this thought has been vetted, but we do know that one of the girls' parents had both been arrested and sentenced to prison time for drugs (not just possession). Thinking about that underworld a lot...and the changing nature of their violence (and the ever-growing clientele and police busts). Was the killer a "professional"? Was it meticulously planned, executed and message sent? Does LE know enough to know that RL is in danger for perhaps knowing something? Maybe not enough, but something.

With Homeland Security being involved, along with the FBI, I feel that a "catfishing" scenario is not likely. With a photo and audio, I feel a local RSO is not likely. With the murders happening mid-day Monday in February in Indiana when school would normally be in session on a remote bridge in a small town, I feel a crime of opportunity is not likely. So, where does that leave us?

GEO provides secure care, custody and control for Indiana Department of Correction offenders. Services provided by GEO include security, programs and transportation. The facility houses security levels 1 through 4 adult male offenders including special needs offenders: maximum security (the psychiatric unit), medium security (general population), and minimum security (outside dorm). Food Service is contracted by Aramark and medical services are contracted by Corizon directly through IDOC.

I have never thought BG looked like RL. I see some similarities in physical structure but I see that with about 80% of other men I see too. I think suspicions of some type of involvement are/were warranted though, based off the words and actions of LE. Surely the results of that SW must be due soon and he can be cleared, or made a higher suspect, as LE stated were their intentions.

When I look at Liberty's cell pic, I see someone with longer femurs than tibias, and the tibias appear bowed a bit, not unlike someone with rickets or Blount's disease. What do you think? He also looks in a hurry, shirts not adjusted, pants hanging. When I walk, I continually adjust these things as I walk because it is just so uncomfortable otherwise.
