Do you suppose he only took Libby down the hill and had Abby elsewhere? The *her* final moments comment you mention caught my attention. This beast needs to be stopped.

(When MJK abducted his 2 victims, Kathlynn Shepard and her friend, he took them to a pig farm. They were tied up and separated, and while he was assaulting one girl separately, the other escaped.)

No collar found, just people theorizing about the 'white thing' poking out of the jacket.

Oh noes now I'm gonna have to eat crow! In the beginning we didn't have the media thread!!! DUH. I know a few of us tried to copy important media links, pics ect to the media thread I just expected we had put this there too but we didn't have a thread to put it in back then. Oy.

We first discovered it in thread 1, that shows you how far back it was about but I think so many of us came to assume the photos on there were the same as what LE then released to the public.

Thanks. ab01 told me where to find it, and I don't think I really missed anything else of importance. I just never noticed when they changed the pictures on the flyer (or whatever that was). It still confirms the fact that I'm going blind!

Does anybody see RL here? I never did see it but I think it would be hard to hold to that theory after seeing this. I think this picture really makes him appear to be even shorter. Nin's latest calculations have him somewhere around 5'8" I believe? We could be generous and say 5'10" but that is not 6'1" so I don't know how this could be RL.

If you do think that it is still a possibility, I would like to hear your thoughts.

I still am holding on to my original theory that BG is tied to the trail/ bridge in some way, weather it be that he hiked it frequently, was involved in "Geocatching"(can't discuss it or sleuth it here) or was connected by some other outdoor activity there. I have zero evidence to support it, but I just can't seem to get away from the location holding some key in connecting BG to the crime. Maybe it was just a serial killer just passing through, but I just can't shake the feeling that BG knew the location very well.....MOO

I've been looking into everything I can find online about guided hikes they have had there - They've even had guides. Then there are "bridge hunters" - basically bridge enthusiasts who are interested in visiting different bridges. Also hunters.

The part where I really think that the loop coming over his right shoulder is a hydration pack makes me feel even more strongly that whether or not he came already knowing that he would have the opportunity to commit a murder that day, he is an outdoorsy guy who hunts, hikes, or something like that and so has one of those hydration packs. If you have one of those then you have an outdoor hobby whether it's hunting, hiking, bicycling or whatever where you need to stay hydrated while doing those activities. So just IMO, in my own mind, I'm convinced that he is outdoorsy doing some of those kinds of things, and because it took knowledge of the area, he has to have done those things there. So I kind of pour over hunting, hiking, and especially bridge enthusiast forums and websites.

I definitely think, too, that he knew the location very well. I didn't understand the area well until I studied the aerial views and lots of photos. If I was a criminal I certainly wouldn't have felt confident trying to try pull off a serious crime in broad daylight there if I didn't know the area.
