We don't know if it was deliberately filmed or she got him accidentally. We don't know the time it was filmed. I did ask on the image thread if the time of his shadow could be worked out like was done for Abby. We also don't know if BG and the voice are the same person or the times of the voice recording either. So I am just guessing in the absence of specifics. We don't know what time they were supposed to be picked up. I find the lack of these times very strange tbh.

LE said in an interview Libby hit record because she felt scared, I take that to indicate there is evidence on the audio to show that, and that would mean it was deliberate. Also at the presser where Libby was said to be a hero, they started she had the presence of mind to hit record and capture BG on camera, again this points to deliberate.

On some of the billboards showing BG it was in print that he was (paraphrasing) seen at 2:30pm in the area of the Monon High bridge in Delphi, it's not proof per se but it leads me to believe that may have been the time he was on the bridge.

The billboards that the FBI put up had on them that BG was last seen at 2:30pm. I don't think they made that up though I am sure that is an approximate time within a few minutes on either side of 2:30pm.

Maybe Libby did call 911 and that is the audio? That couldn't be the case right because LE would have known straight away wouldn't they?

Right, could not be the case or LE would have been there in huge numbers on the afternoon/evening of the 13th.

I find it curious that LE have never mentioned who was supposed to pick up the girls.

I read early on who specifically was picking them up. Looking for a link for you, but having a hard time....

What if it isn't a capacity issue? Just like a dead spot. For example there are placed my calls drops every single time. Not saying that is the case out at the bridge location. But we have spots like that around here.

Well if the phone can't connect to a tower then you can't make a call. Nothing can be done in that situation.

Do you think that the BG picture and audio came from the same deliberate action? Meaning: The BG picture AND the audio were both recovered from the same continuously running video? Or, was the BG picture taken from a video or still picture and the audio was recovered from a separate audio or video that was recorded after the BG picture?

If we knew for sure that LE recovered DNA from both cases, then we would know if they were committed by the same person. LE knows if they're connected, if they have that DNA. If one case is missing DNA evidence, then it would be difficult to connect them, until there's a suspect in one that could be placed in the area of the other at the right time.

I think I disagree with this..I really do not think at this point he was an amateur, but then again, who the hell knows. I just assume since he hasnt even been identified yet much less caught 3 months out, that he must be very experienced because surely a first time killer would have made stupid mistakes and been apprehended right away.

ANd BTW I completely agree with the entire mental illness/addiction/crime post I quoted above as well. Great post Brighty !!

I think from the early references to Delphi Investigators talking to Iowa Detectives and the subsequent nationwide billboards it is apparent that they have been looking for a serial killer from the beginning. Jmo

The FBI poster indicates "....after their parents were unable to locate them at the pickup location", but we really can't draw any firm conclusions from that.

So presumably LE will have the time of the video. They will have the time of the audio too? Then we have the time of the "supposed" pick up. However, these times are all woolly. I just wonder why that is when the recordings are supposed to be the centre of this case.

The BG picture is a still taken from video yes, that is fact. The audio comes from the same device, whether it is concurrent we don't know, only LE does.

Because they weren't picked up between 3:00 and 3:30,but they were supposed to be, I think that's the intent of the wording.

Morning everyone and MHCH, I'm glad you posted this, I had some of the same thoughts in regards to tips, I agree the bridge was probably okay with at least one of the girls parents, seemed maybe tradition in a sense, I say this respectfully, as one had previous picture of the bridge old picture. It was on sn msm link so i figure its ok to say, plus I do the same with my kids traditional things with places. Also I had questions regarding the 500 poi. Is it possible LE has a main suspect in mind, yet due to not knowing if two peeps were involved, this might explain that amount of other poi, as one person might have multiple shady, questionable, or other.. types of associations with peoples? All imo always. Thanks

I think the 500 POI was an error made by a reporter, the actual LE statement I saw was they had 500 tips left to follow up on. Tips called in does not equal POI in the LE terms. We don't even know how many of those tips might have pointed to no particular suspect, or the same suspect as other tipsters. I just think the reporter was mistaken by what the 500 number referred to.
