Having some say the scene was so nightmarish that officers were brought to their knees and others say they didn't even know it was a crime scene is quite contradictory! I wonder what the truth is.
LE has said neither of those.

<modsnip>

they said the SW would either "clear him or move him to a higher suspect". they have yet to clear him.

Apropos "getting buried quickly": What about the car which was possibly seen on a pic down between trees to the left side of the bridge?

I'm not sure if your comment was tongue in cheek, but if not, and for the benefit of anyone who doesn't know, the bridge is 60 feet up . No one needs to squint to make out a car. Unless of course it was a matchbox car. And for those of you too young, that's a mini toy car.

I agree about RL. I think his big offense is drunk driving related charges, not murder. In my opinion the guy who did this does not live anywhere near Delphi. He seems to have a knowledge of the area to have pulled this off and gotten away. I wonder how much that abandoned railway bridge plays into this tragedy. IF this is a SK then his fixation/fantasy may involve attacking on or near a railway bridge. Perhaps his primary focus may have been first the attraction of the bridge. If he wanted to act out his fantasy the next step would be researching how many people frequent the trails and start monitoring SM to see who visited the area regularly. If this is a SK that only strikes every few years, then he has plenty of time to think, research and consider what exactly he wants. Once he finds the scene then he goes about procuring his victim. Something about railways may hold appeal for him. I do wonder this after listening to ISP Superintendent, Doug Carter when he asked the questions of why the girls, why Delphi and why Carroll County. That comment led me to think BG was an outsider, not someone local. IMO

RL is NOT in jail for anything but drunk driving related issues

I thought I might have seen a part of a car. No idea how mini or maxi it would be IF there was indeed a car.

Then weeks later LE said he was not considered a suspect but he was still involved in the case.
you also have to keep in mind that they said he was not a suspect before, during and after the search.Coupled with the fact that rarely name a suspect prior to an arrest i don't put much weight on there statement that he is not a suspect. I am waiting for them to clear him. You would think his attorney would be asking LE to do the same.

It would be very mini. VERY.
As was pointed out many threads ago, and a very good analogy...imagine being six stories up looking down.

BT gotta love your persistence. Seriously.
But I disagree.

I don't think they are trying to sound like they know more than they do. What he said ^^^ is often true. But I also don't think LE has a serious suspect yet.

I think they do....... I think they need evidence and I don't think they have much evidence at all.

Who was questioned.
Who has alibi s?
Who has been cleared and ruled out?
Who hasn't been cleared?

To me..... this leaves a lot of ppl on the list.

Does anyone have a link to the interview with LE where the officer is asked if RL is the guy on the bridge?

His response was something about BG being a middle aged white male...and RL is a white male so he can't be ruled out.

But, imho, he could not bring himself to say RL is middle aged...it was quite odd.

Delphi Community Schools Superintendent Gregory Briles confirmed it was the girls with LE not saying one way or another. Was he privy to some inside info that the rest of the world didn't know except for the police? Just a thought, have seen that posted many times but never saw the question brought up,thoughts anyone?

What I meant to have seen was too "maxi" then. Okay.

“The man is the photo is middle aged and white,” Sgt. Perrine said. “Mr. Logan is also a white male. At this point we can’t verify anything.”

Edit to add: Police stress Logan is not a suspect. He is part of the investigation that included follow-up on more than 13,000 tips and the search for this man in photos taken by German before she died.

Well we are nearly 3 months in and he has not moved up the suspect list as far as we are aware and LE have 500 POI's and DNA must be back by now and he has not been arrested for this crime.

I know some people believe he is guilty but he was arrested in March for violating probation and it's now May. You would of hoped that LE would have evidence if it was RL by now.

the bridge is only 60 feet high. any car under the bridge would have been much larger than what was in questioned as a possible car.

Thank you. That is what I wanted to listen to again. Lot of pauses and looking away during the questions about describing BG. moo

They also haven't stated that they've moved him to a higher suspect.
FWIW
Good to point out both sets of facts. :fence:
again, LE rarely names a suspect prior to an arrest. also he is involved in the criminal investigation. i highly doubt this is just because the bodies were found on his property. Because if he doesn't know anything he wouldn't have anything to tell LE to be "involved", past he doesn't know anything.

Could you tell me why you think he would still be involved in the investigation months, and why simply being the property owner would make him still "involved" in a criminal investigation into a double homicide?
