LE have said that there has been multiple arrests throughout their investigation.This is the first time that we know of publicly that someone has been arrested for murder as a result of questioning pertaining to Abby and Libby so I would ask the Mods if KS is sleuthable per TOS,also is the word sleuthable really a word?

Could be however the way other information (or lack thereof) has been given out I have to think it is just poor communication.

I think lots of LE agencies across the US needs to have a public information officer at the ready to handle things for them. When a case of this importance comes up most agencies are ill equipped to handle the media properly. Not really their fault because they just dont have the training. Just wish they would learn to hire someone when needed to handle it rather than do what they normally do which is to try to handle it with someone that cannot handle it properly.

In this case, there are so many agencies involved, i tend to think each word is carefully prescribed.

Other than Lizzie and Lyric, what other dual child/teen murder cases do we have listed here on websleuths, and if the perp(s) has been apprehended, what charactersitics, information, etc could we possibly use as a comparison for possible insight? Of course this doesn't guarantee certain similarities as each person and case is different....

I was thinking about this case last night and had a small epiphany. I have known two incredible women who were murdered the day before, and on Valentine's. Both by estranged husbands. I really believe this is a full of rage divorcee taking his wrath out on women/little girls.

Add bitter divorce to the list, as a suggestion.

I also had this thought with the addition that he may be taking care of a parent, his mother, and has built up rage/disdain towards women. An older man still being treated like a child by his mother either unable to have a life of his own and/or going through a difficult divorce and feeling frustration and anger towards women and eventually snapping. His clothes are utilitarian but not specific to or even the best for hiking (no backpack/water/hiking sticks) and he looks comfortable up on this old railroad bridge as if he has walked it before. I hike alone out on old railroad tracks and trestles. The first time it was daunting - up high with no railings and it is usually a good 6 to 8 inches between ties. It feels as if one misstep will leave you lying down below on rocks or in the water - because it will. He does not look like he is walking slowly.

I also think he could have passed them going in one direction, noticed they were taking their time and treading carefully, then doubled back to encounter them again. This would have set off the girls radar (especially if he said/muttered/yelled/stared at them the first time around) and this is why Libby started recording.

I hate even asking this question, but its important i think. In the scenario of two children being killed...what specific role does the second child play in this sick scenario?

This signature of the two children and the profile associated with that is exactly how this Perp will be caught, IMO. They operate in deep, dark, cloistered networks online, but he will be found. I SO wish he was being arrested in Texas...

For the reason, and in the interest of, Taking two girls is it may show a tendency toward a particular preference in victims, their gender and ages. Chances are this is not the first time to have forced two females into a situation that excited BG, whether a death was involved or not, the previously orchestrated SA was intentional. This time BG killed his victims. Someone in IN knows quirky information that BG has been pervasively abusive to young females.

Yes! rosesfromangels, that is a lovely epiphany, if such a thing could be described as lovely when investigating murders of two young girls.

BG was bitter, grief-stricken, depressed, revengeful, angry and felt awful, nasty and cruel while filled with rage over a recent or pending divorce. How can we find those who divorced around Feb within the state of IN? Does each county publish divorce data? Maybe one of them is also RSO.

I had a minor epiphamy too yesterday. As I was looking at other cases here on WS and thinking maybe one of them is the killer of these two girls my first reaction is "No way. That is just too coincidental". But then it hit me. Of course it could be another case here on WS where the same perp could have done this killing too. Its what we do here and of course we could have another case we have a thread for and the person could have been the same perp in this case.

Its not far fetched at all to be a possibility. We hone in on many cases and perps that do this sort of thing have been known to commit other henious crimes. So its not a far fetched possibility at all.

I am still skeptic whether LE even has DNA sample to check against.

The LE public representative that has given out such little and contradicting information about the DNA has me confused whether or not they even have a sample.

Which would be surprising and terrible if they dont have DNA.

I hope they have DNA but am not convinced they do because of how bad the communication from LE has been.

Every time I try to go back and read what they have told media i get even more confused. They are not clear about it at all. If they dont want to let it be known then they should just tell the media flat out that they are keeping all information under wraps rather than confusing everyone.

So, I have said several times I think they might have DNA based on what sounds like a computer talking ("eyes not blue"---phenotying). Now, stay with me here because this might be hard to follow as i can barely explain myself haha...since they haven't mentioned parabon, etc, and have mentioned this new witness (which I think is a fib, jmo, moo)..what if this is exactly what they are trying to do, make it seeeeem like they really have DNA based on pretending to talk like parabon, knowing some will pick up on this...when maybe they really dont have dna...but then how did they get "not blue"...so then there maybe really be this new witness...nevermind, circular post, talking out loud...I don't think there's this new witness, moo.
