Makes me think the investigators can confidently say it’s only three words because they have the recording of the full speech from BG Libby recorded, and their investigators excerpted “down the hill.”

It sure did sound like “get down the hill” to me, too. Not sure that matters in the great scheme of things, though. Or does it? A simple “down the hill” without the words “get” or “go” doesn’t necessarily mean he’s directing them to go down a hill, which has been such a key point of the sleuthing here. In my opinion.

"It's" down the hill is a lot different than "get" down the hill, for instance. Maybe it does matter. ???

I think it might say "I live down the hill."

I think it might say "I live down the hill."

It’s hard to know the words that came before and after, although I read somewhere it was the stuff of nightmares. (Wish we had a list of quotes from LE, who said them and when).

When I watched the big press conference with members of local, state and federal officials speaking on the crime, I felt very emotional. I did assume it to mean the girls were directed to go down the hill by a male voice with authority. But maybe there was a lure down the hill, or any number of things.

With that being said, can't think of a better way to spend my vacation than trying to nail a dirt bag ☺

So , for example, could the apparent composite from eye witnesses be a Bluff-trap and it could have instead come from a Parabon Dna profile?

It could maybe but the sketch of BG is not a Parabon sketch.

I'd really hate to see this thread closed so soon after Dr. Phil's show.

Me, too.
I MOO (my opinion only) or :cow: when I need a little levity in my posts. Otherwise, it's "IMO"

You can put it in your settings so you don't need to think about it every time.

I was under the impression, from a previous admin post, that it's not enough to put it in your signature because it's still difficult to ascertain whether what you're saying, in that moment, is an opinion of yours or a reference to something you've seen/heard in the news.

The "stuff of nightmares" quote is one of those things that's been discussed so much, and referenced to, that it's kind of lost its original meaning. LE didn't actually say that, it was something said by someone on the Inside Edition show. We didn't even get an actual source, just that the source was "someone close to the investigation". Which could be anyone or nobody.

the more I read, the more I am convinced that we know nothing about this case. All speculative.

Contact your local Sheriff Detective or City Police Detective. Even a large media outlet and ask if there has ever been a case where LE, FBI ect has ever given false or altred information to the public to flush out or plain piss of an UNSUB/Suspect. If your attorney says otherwise they are grossly misinformed.

I’m not sure if she is talking about this case specific. I know LE and FBI’s tactics. I’m not so sure that people are quite as knowledgeable as you are Don on this subject and pretty much every subject you insert yourself into. No need to get upset when someone contradicts you.

This will make an interesting conversation at Christmas with my brother and I do look forward to his thoughts, too. Also, I am afraid I may have come across differently than I intended to with my input in the conversation concerning trickery in LE as I only meant it to be further conversation. Sometimes I can come across as "information dry" and NEVER mean to be mean.

My beautiful wife says I take things way to seriously...maybe she has a point.
