Neither were RL charges but that didn't stop MSM. DN is still a POI for Delphi and the warrants could be used to extradite if he is a serious contender. If they extradite, he is important, if they don't, he isn't imo - I think it's that simple really.

I believe the Felony 6 Failure to register is extraditable. A warrant was issued on 9/29. The FTA warrants for both DN and KN are not. Is this correct?

Indiana has no interest in DN. And DN is out of Clear Creek already. Jails are crowded guys. They are not going to lock someone up for an FTA for a suspended license and pot or even not reporting to the SR.

With that said he looks like BG more than ever IMO.

Indiana has no interest in DN. And DN is out of Clear Creek already. Jails are crowded guys. They are not going to lock someone up for an FTA for a suspended license and pot or even not reporting to the SR.

With that said he looks like BG more than ever IMO.

To my knowledge that doesn't mean he released. Whenever I see "Contact Facility" or "Other Reason" in most cases it means he's been transferred to another facility. Clear Creek is only reporting on their own population, IMO.

Is there any other info that he is out on the street? If so I hope we're done with him TBH.

HAHA... done with him? according to DN he went to Colorado for revenge (and legal dope). We have no reason to believe his crime spree is done. IMO it has just begun. History tells us it usually only takes about 2 months before he's back in jail. Let's just hope he doesn't kill anyone else before he ends up behind bars for good.

I guess MSM need to aim exactly that question to the Delphi investigators. (I.e. Are they done with him?)

I notice a lot of the similarities between RL and DN. When RL was the arrested for violation of probation and MSM got wind of it, LE stressed he was not a suspect. But those folks didn't believe LE statements because they were absolutely certain it was him. For the longest while many here continued to speculate he was just being held on unrelated charges so LE had an opportunity to firm up their Delphi murder charges against him.

The same could be said for DN......

I can’t decide if LE is interested in DN in relation to the murders of the girls or if they are perpetuating all eyes on DN while they build a case against someone(s) else:/. I constantly waffle in thinking he is involved or not involved.

At any rate I appreciate the updates on his court proceedings. It’s really the only “ fact based” new info we have

For sure I'd bet LE heartily welcomed the blip of media coverage from Colorado. Aside from interviews with the family on special occasions or the 13th of each passing month, fundraising for the memorial, bridge and trail improvements, recently LE office moves it must be very challenging to sustain public exposure on the longterm.

I've got to say, this seems like an inordinate amount of work to go through to get DN back to Indiana for a Failure to register charge. And as of December 13, they even filed a Discovery motion. Hmmmmm wonder what they discovered!!!

The source of the oft repeated "include or exclude as a suspect" is contained within an ISP Press Release from October 3, 2017. It was mentioned "an exception has been made in this instance the result of numerous media inquiries made about this particular tip."

"The Indiana State Police can share, that thus far, there has been no information developed to specifically include or exclude Daniel Nations as a suspect in the Delphi homicides......"

Another statement from ISP after the Dr Phil show aired on December 13th:

".......Riley also spoke to News 18 about Daniel Nations. Nations is a person of interest in the Delphi double homicide.

"We've not really completely ruled out anybody," said Riley. "We're still looking at everybody that we've already talked to. We're going back and talking to them again. So is Daniel Nations our big top number, no. He's just another one in the field that we're still looking at."......

Yes but that occurred in April 2014, nearly three full years prior to the murders.

Nobody was caught so it'd be impossible for anyone to ever know. Something to consider, crime stats for Delphi rank it fairly highly for property crime. There could be a reason, or it might just be that locals are active in their reporting.
