LE seems so certain that BG can be identified by the sketch, photo, and voice. They keep saying they only need one piece of the puzzle to break the case open. They have even begged ('please, please, please trust us'). This makes me think that the person they are addressing for the tip might be afraid of BG and threfore unlikey to turn him in. Or perhaps BG is not from the Delphi area, and the person(s) who could recognize him simply have not seen the media coverage and are not aware of the case. Or perhaps they've got their man on their radar but just can't prove he was in Delphi that day...maybe he has a false alibi and they need a tipster to discount it.
I'd love to see where this case would be if there was less reliance on the sketch/photo/voice. Obviously it provides some amazing clues and direction but I'd love to see some good old fashioned criminal profiling. If we had more of this type of information, and maybe a little bit more information about motive (for example, were the girls assaulted, was this random or targeted etc...) the right tip might be provided. There has been so much emphasis by armchair sleuths on matching photos of criminals (such as DN) to the photos of BG, I feel like BG may have slipped away, especially if he doesn't really look much like the composite sketch--which is a strong possiblity given they are usually not identical and BG may have disguised or changed his appearance in the last year.
