There is a picture of Ali holding a german Shepherd puppy. Maybe they needed a special permit for her 'dangerous' dog to attend school with her or something like that.

I THINK that dog belonged to bio dad and wife K ~ there are pics of K with it on her ms.

That is exactly where I have been from the time this case first broke. It just seems there are too many coincidental cues that point to possible collusion. Maybe they ALL thought MP could take care of their 'problem' child, get away with it, it would be a missing child tragedy, and they would all get rich over it with donations, paid trips, interviews, appearances, and such. Opportunistic pigs without conscience. MAYBE.

But on further thought, nahhh, this scenario would take more planning and forethought than MP's peabrain could handle.

Much more likely he was simply a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 pedophile / impulse disorder whose temper exploded when Aliahna wanted to go home.

Did Michael Plumadore have FB friends in Weston? On Aliayah Lunsford thread it was posted he did.Does anyone know?

When his FB was still available, I look at his contacts but he didn't have any of them tagged as Family. There was a Plumadore listed in New York, but I have since been to his page and it states he is not related!?!? I have come across other Plumadores, but they have also posted comments stating they are not related. So either no one wants to claim him, or he has no family. I don't think any of the other "friends" were much more than FB friends, except for this circle of people. JMO of coarse. Happy New Year Fellow Sleuthers!!!

You know, this is driving me batty:

I have read that possibly police didn't discover Ailie's remains in the dumpster because they weren't looking for a dead child but an alive child.

If this really is true then protocol for missing children's cases needs to be changed. It should automatically be considered a possibility that missing child has met with foul play.

In the Jorelys Rivera case, blood stains were overlooked in an abandoned apartment because they were only looking for a missing girl.

Sadly, it would seem that nowadays a dumpster is a very logical place to look for a missing child. I cannot believe that if they had MP under suspicion almost immediately, that they only gave that dumpster a cursory glance until MP confessed.

Makes no sense.

I agree, except who, including LE would be looking for small little bags? Even if they were suspicious of him having killed her, their minds couldn't (I don't think) have gone to the dismemberment and disposal of individual pieces. UGHHH!!

It doesn't say what time this happened. Perhaps it was in the evening, after the report?

Wouldn't he have been likely to spend the evening being questioned about the disappearance and not doing laundry?

Judging from other cases, dismemberment is usually done in the bathtub. And the bathroom usually has solid surfaces which are easier to clean.

Leiby Kletzky's remains were dismembered in the living room but the only blood LE found in Levi Aron's apartment was on the freezer door where he stored parts of his body and on 3 knives that were lying on the counter.

<snipped>

"Aron—now covered with scratches and scrapes—grew frenzied anew. “I didn’t know what to do with the body,” he wrote. After about fifteen minutes, he carried Leiby’s remains into the front room and placed them on a mattress. Using a kitchen knife, he cut off one leg at the hip. He tried to fit it into a plastic garbage bag but discovered it didn’t fit. He severed it again, at the ankle. He repeated the process with the other leg and stored the parts in the refrigerator and the freezer. He took a shower, “went to clean up a little,” took a second shower, and left the apartment to dispose of the rest of the body. But in other ways he was almost casual about covering his tracks. In Aron’s kitchen, the responding officers found three bloody knives on the counter along with a telltale red smudge on the freezer door.

Aron guided the police to a Dumpster in the Greenwood Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. In the Dumpster was a red suitcase. In the red suitcase, sawed into pieces and divided into separate plastic bags, was the *remainder of Leiby’s corpse."

Safe to say you and I wouldn't buy it, but in the transcript of his interview, he was sickeningly patronizing and overly dramatic in his lying concern and undying love and tenderness.

I can see women desperate for any kindness or attention buying into his bullchit simply because it feeds their narcissistic needs.
-----------

I don't think it was narcissistic on her part. I think she had such low regard for herself that she welcomed the attention from this monster and allowed him to insinuate himself into her life.

I think they did find evidence and just kept the information quiet while they continued to look for other evidence and to question the perp more. We dog 'em but they still are able to hide much from us.... probably a good thing tho frustrating for nosy me!

Has LE said anything about having spoken with the little sisters? I'm sure LE has spoken with them; I just hadn't read anything about them having done so or commenting on what they may have said.

Really?

Now we have not only mom, but "they ALL" agreeing to and knowing about the murder and disposal?

The problem I have seen with anger and hatred based on speculation, is that when the actual facts come out, many times it's "not enough" .. So we have to image and speculate some more.

This case is already worse than most of can imagine. I will choose to wait on the facts and not trust my anger and speculation to fuel my passion.

I have a feeling the facts, as they come out, will be plenty to be angry about.

Again, imo.

Even if this quote is actually from before the confession, how did this grandma even became so convinced MP didn't hurt her granddaughter? How did the grandma even know MP? She was divorced from the grandpa, she got a new husband, and yet somehow she got to know MP so well that she became convinced he didn't hurt the little girl, regardless of what anyone said.

I wish we knew all of the above. In one breath it seems they had just recently met him within a year or so and then looking through the history, it seems he has had some sort of connection to them for longer. Bizarre!

Can a judge judging a civil case start the process of pressing criminal charges against one of the participants in the civil case? Isn't it a conflict of interest?
Judges are mandated to report abuse. IMO, this judge and anyone else hearing about the 13 year old being harassed, sent explicit photos's, dropped the ball.

And, some of them, deliberately drop the ball.

Do we know this?

Maybe the judge did exactly what he was supposed to. Maybe the case was referred to other authorities. Maybe LE did look into it..

We just don't really know...

imo

I really wish I could find more about MP. He is the only focus right now for the actual crime. I want to know ALL of his history! No one is coming forward yet and there are so little facts.

Service providers offer care options

Thirty-nine-year-old Michael L. Plumadore was baby-sitting 9-year-old Aliahna Lemmon and her two sisters because her mother had been sick.

SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) provides free child care for parents who find themselves in need of emergency help because of a sudden illness or crisis, said Rachel Tobin-Smith, SCAN’s executive director.

SCAN’s program – Daybreak Crisis Homes – uses licensed foster care providers to care for children on a temporary or immediate basis.

And the Early Childhood Alliance always has names of vetted child care providers available to area parents, she said.

Tobin-Smith said she does not blame Aliahna’s mother but said it can be dangerous when a parent is ill and vulnerable.

Daybreak Crisis Homes

SCAN's Daybreak Crisis Homes offers emergency short-term care for Allen County children whose parents are in crisis and have no one else to care for their children. Primarily serving newborns and children to 10 years of age, Daybreak can also accept older siblings.

I may have missed it but there was a poster ( sorry new to boards so I have not been able to remember names) that was talking to someone who reported that MP was on the sex offender registry. I know he wrote to her saying he had some personal stuff to deal with and would get back to her when he got more info just wondering if he was able to get around to it yet.

Mandatory abuse-reporting laws

Every state has laws requiring some adults to alert authorities when they suspect a child has been abused or neglected. This chart shows which types of adults are specifically required to report, and whether failing to report abuse is a crime.

Few penalties for keeping child abuse secret

Laws that could punish doctors, teachers and other adults for keeping silent when they suspect a child has been abused have gone largely unenforced over the past decade.

Those state laws require people who work closely with children to alert police or child-welfare investigators anytime they so much as suspect a child has been abused.
Yet a USA TODAY examination of police and court records from across the USA found that a combination of infrequent enforcement and small penalties means adults often have little to fear from concealing abuse.

I said, anyone who heard about this 13 year old being harassed, sent explicit pics/text and didn't report it, dropped the ball.

There is a bailiff right there in court, he is an officer and can take a criminal report. Usually, there is a victim's advocate office right there in the courthouse, as well as the district attorney. They should have been referred there, immediately. Furthermore, the judge could have issued a "criminal" protective order, on the spot. IF, it was taken care of this particular day.
