Concern grow for missing Charlestown woman

CHARLESTOWN — With still no word from the missing Charlestown woman last seen in the area more than a week ago, family and others who know her are growing more concerned about her safety.

Angel Marie Combs, a 23-year-old woman with a "label of an intellectual/developmental disability," was most recently seen by her mother, Brenda Combs, the afternoon of Dec. 4 at their home off of Ind. 403 in Charlestown. Police report that she was seen on surveillance footage later that afternoon at New Washington State Bank on 10th Street in Jeffersonville, where she made a withdrawal.

Since then, no one has been able to reach her and loved ones say she could be in danger. The Clark County Sheriff's Office is investigating the case.
