Height: 5'6"-5'7"
Weight: 130 lbs
Hair Color: Reddish-brown or auburn
Eye Color: Brown
Accessories: On her ring finger police found a small combination diamond engagement and wedding ring.

Clothing: He was wearing a blue short-sleeve sports shirt, a blue and white button-front sweater, black wash pants, one black sock, and white jockey shorts.

Both are said to have fingerprints and dental records available.

Thanks for bumping this back up. Would love to see them in NAMUS, though I have no clue where to begin.
I've been in contact with one of the Indiana Coroners( I think that's his role) involved in the Identify Indiana project. I'm waiting on a response from an email in regards to something else. I'll bring this up to him next time I email him.
 
Very intriguing case. The female UID was wearing wedding and engagement rings. The male apparently was not. Maybe the female UID's husband found her having an affair with the make UID and killed them both? If the husband/perp said his wife was fooling around and took off with a man, it's likely she wasn't reported missing.

Many men don't wear wedding rings. Lake.County IN at that time the steel mills were in full production. You don't wear a ring when you work in that type of environment.

My father and large portion of the population in that area and Lake County in particular worked in the steel mills in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Men wearing wedding rings was rare. My dad never even had one. He would say the only thing they were good for was losing a finger or worse. Wedding rings for men were hazards not commitments
