"I tried texting her that day and got nothing," explained Robinson. "That was very unusual." Almost two weeks later, Robinson fears something terrible has happened to her daughter.

"Is she safe? Is she breathing? Is she being abused? What is going on?" said Robinson.

As the search for Christina continues, Robinson is looking after Christina's four children and trying to assure them their mom will one day come home. "I've got four beautiful grandkids looking for their mom," said Robinson. "They're wanting to know, 'Where's my mom? Why can't I see my mom?'"

Friday was the custody discussion in court, they were hoping but she did not show up, the children are now officially with her ex.

Stopped at a gas station in South Bend today and noticed Christina's missing person’s poster on the front door.

According to court records (I don’t know why her name is spelled “Christine” on the search website, but based on what I have read elsewhere, including the “Petitioner”’s FB page, I am confident this is the correct case), at one point, Friday’s hearing was supposed to take place on June 12th, the very day Christina was last heard from.

I was unable to find out who had custody prior to Friday’s hearing. I haven’t seen anything official about DCP involvement, although I have seen some comments on FB that suggest that they have been involved.

However, in the court records, I do see that the State of Indiana filed a motion to “intervene,” which was granted by the judge.

As to the definition of “Motion to Intervene,” here is what I found:

“motion for intervention, in the context of family law, is a petition by an interested party to testify to the best interests of a child when the existing parties cannot adequately protect a child's best interests. The laws granting intervenors a procedural right to be heard by the court are designed to make sure the court has free and ready access to all relevant information.

Laws governing motions for intervention vary by jurisdiction, but typically provide that such a motion may be granted based upon the following:

1. A caregiver relationship exists between the person and the child or ward;
2. The intervention is in the best interests of the child or ward;
3. The reason for intervention and the specific relief sought are consistent with the best interests of the child or ward; and
4. The existing parties cannot adequately protect the best interests of the child or ward without the intervention.
   In some instances, intervention is allowed "as of right", and in other cases, it is permissive. The mandatory or permissive status of the intervening party may affect their right to appeal a denial of the motion to intervene. (BBM)

Per 1. above, it is possible that the children were in the custody of the state at least as of the time of the motion (January 19th), and even up until Friday, IMO.

ETA: The nature of the crimes the Petitioner has been charged with in the last year or so (as recently as January) really makes me worried about Christina’s safety.

My interpretation here is a little different. The State of Indiana is commonly listed as an intervenor in divorce cases in Indiana. In and of itself it means little especially when a guardian ad litum is not also appointed.

The invasion of privacy charge appears to be related to some sort of recording and/or tracking of his wife. While the charge itself mentions "violates protective order under IC 34-26-5 to prevent dom" there is no Protection Order anywhere listed. The restraining orders in the divorce case are not the same thing. Those are to keep people from taking property and adverse actions prior to division of assets and such. So, it leads me to believe that the wording of the charge is meant to cover more than one statute into the same charge.

The Court would not have granted him custody if they thought he was a danger.

Okay. Upon more research - reading her husband's FB is much more enlightening - she was a mess. For one, she doesn't look anything like the photo we have at the top of the thread. If you have seen what Meth does to someone's appearance you probably won't be shocked at what she really looks like. I suggest you look at his page for the June 26th 12:50am post where there are photos.

Just adding for clarity, i was not trying to question the husband, but more to find out what was her situation or environment prior her missing. It really seems something was going wrong and she may be dealing with the wrong people. I fear it has something to do with addiction.

If you go back through her husband's FB (one of the 6/8 posts) you can find out why the 6/12 court date was moved/cancelled by Christina. And if you go back to 5/7 you can find a post he made of a photo taken by his son where Christina was in the hospital - sounds like her boyfriend was responsible for that.

Eating disorders can cause a similar look (as far as I’ve seen she doesn’t seem to have the meth head “pick marks”, etc.). I lost two people very close to me in a short time frame several years ago and between grief and depression lost ~35lbs very quickly. My husband had practically had to beg me to eat and it got to the point that I was buying my clothes in the children’s section and coworkers were actually asking me if I was ill before I was really able to start to come to terms with it and make changes.

That said, the new boyfriend looked pretty shady to me.

I am so sorry for what you went through. I have been in treatment for ED several times since age 14. Eating disorders suck.

Just looked up the supposed new boyfriend (according to Christina’s mom), and yes, he sounds extremely dangerous: It appears he was convicted of kidnapping a minor back in 2000 and spent seven years in prison. Subsequently, he was registered as a sex offender until last October ....
