The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says investigators located the body of Christina Marie Woods in a shallow grave in Beatty Township, near Cook, on Monday. Woods, a 28-year-old from South Bend, had been reported missing in early June.

An autopsy found Woods died of homicidal violence.

An arrest warrant was issued for 40-year-old Daniel Gregory Lynn of South Bend. The sheriff's office says the property where Woods' body was found belongs to a relative of Lynn.

I pray that this very dangerous man is found very soon. He needs to be locked up forever.

So, who gave up the location to search in Minnesota?

Possibly the relatives who own the property? Maybe LE came sniffing around or calling and "yeah, he was here recently" would be all it would take for them to want to check around the place. In any case, he is wanted in MN now, which is a weird turn in events. They sure were able to keep that on the down low in MN. Finding her and doing an autopsy without anyone reporting the finding at all, until now. I look at the MN news daily and never saw anything about this.

It certainly could be addiction, and her husband did say that she was struggling with mental and other health issues. Eating disorders can cause a similar look (as far as I’ve seen she doesn’t seem to have the meth head “pick marks”, etc.). I lost two people very close to me in a short time frame several years ago and between grief and depression lost ~35lbs very quickly. My husband had practically had to beg me to eat and it got to the point that I was buying my clothes in the children’s section and coworkers were actually asking me if I was ill before I was really able to start to come to terms with it and make changes.

I agree, I know well what meth abuse looks like and I'm not seeing that in her face. She does look anorexic, however. So sorry for her former husband, he obviously still cared and really loves his children.

A man suspected by Minnesota police of murder was spotted in the Van Wert, Ohio, area over the weekend, police officials said Monday.
Van Wert police is asking anyone with information regarding the location of Daniel Lynn, 40, of South Bend, to call their local police department or Crime Stoppers hotline. Lynn is a suspect in the murder of Christina Woods, whose body was found buried in northeast Minnesota last week.
Lynn, who police consider dangerous, was possibly driving a white or off-white early 2000s Ford Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer SUV.

Police arrest suspect in South Bend woman's murder

Christina Woods, 28, was reported missing from South Bend in June.

Police say she headed to Minnesota, where she contacted the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office asking for help.

On July 2nd Wood’s remains were found on property that belongs to family members of 40-year-old Daniel Lynn, who is also from south bend. Police say her death was a homicide.

Lynn is in Cass County Jail where he is waiting to be extradited to Minnesota on murder charges.

Fugitive murder suspect found in Cass County campground

40 year old murder suspect Daniel Lynn was taken into custody at a Cass County campground. “All week there was strange cars coming and we, we think it was the sheriff or somebody, under cover, checking it out all the time,” said Christine Anthony of Owen’s Landing.

Neighbors say they believe police have been staking out the place much of the week before they moved in around 10:30 this morning.

Lynn was arrested at his wife's family's camper near Juno Lake in Cass County. His wife, Brooke Taylor, 28, was also arrested for harboring a fugitive. Lynn is awaiting extradition to Minnesota.
