I agree there are folks who do have 2 cell phones for benign reasons. This guy just doesn't strike me as "that guy" IMO.

YES it is!! There was NO robbery!! They left his two cell phones, wallet and pot!!

Do tell... why does a man need TWO cell phones? If drugs were not involved in this in some way, I will eat my keyboard and youtube it, and link it here.

lol

work.
Limited cell phone plan, one for texting other for calls.
One has a better camera, music, etc...
One used on wifi only

There are so many reasons why people carry 2 phones.

I know people who have two cell phones, one for work and one personal and I can assure you they are NOT drug dealers.

Some jobs provide cellphones even if you already have a personal one. Could be the service they want you to use, could be they want complete control of the data, could just be the way the business operates.

My husband's job requires him to use the company phone, while he's at work. He leaves that phone AT work, when he leaves. Do we know if Dad in this case is even employed?

I sometimes carry two cellphones because I use my old one as a music player. If you asked me what it was, I'd say it was a phone, even though it is disconnected. I also know plenty of people who have a phone provided by work and their personal phone.

Again I ask, does Dad have current employment that would require him to carry a company phone?

I have no idea.

But I am unemployed and always carry my phone, tablet and mobile hotspot with me. It does not make me a drug dealer.

Plus, if he was a drug dealer they would have arrested him for having marijuana for distribution. I believe he only had a small amount on him.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the 911 call. Cant even get it straight as to the sex of his "missing" child????!!!!

It was nearly 2 years to the day after his daughter was beaten and left horribly injured for life. He misspoke. No doubt she has been on his mind.

I have three kids, I can't keep them straight. It is still hard sometimes when I talk to people about my youngest because I always say my oldest's name.

On the call he sounds dazed and confused. Like noted by someone else, he stated he was naked and then described what he was wearing.

Then you put that with the info that the neighbors are giving. It all starts seeming weird.

Respectfully snipped

Yeah, I think that's normal. At least you don't accidentally call them by the dog's name.

I think we all do that at one time or another (I have even included the family dog in my list of names). However, in a situation like this I would think your mind would be focused on the child that is in danger and not just rambling out names or in this case whether it is your daughter or son.

According to the link above his Daughter was horribly abused but over time. He just happened to be at work when abuse took place. Did he ever wonder why that little one was in pain when he wasn't at work. Just never noticed the broken bones I guess :tantrum:

Honestly fumbling the gender of the child is the least suspicious thing about this case to me. I've had a lot of friends that would have a baby boy and then a girl (or vice versa) and would constantly say "my son- I mean my daughter" out of habit for the baby for the first couple of months.

Everything about this case makes me sick. I just can't see a scenario where this has a happy ending. That poor sweet beautiful little boy.

I was really happy to hear that he got all the perps details correct tho cuz that's important  Oh and he even remembered it was a 4 door vehicle as he was regaining consciousness :banghead:

I guess of all the 911 calls I have listened to here I just never came across anyone confusing the sex of their child. It isn't any one thing for me. It's the sum of it all. So far.

The level of detail is suspicious. Then I heard what the neighbor said about her seeing the car, up to that point I thought the car was made up. And she said the car was not speeding away.

If I pistol whipped someone and stole their baby, I would not be going the speed limit.

Maybe they didn't want to call attention to themselves as they left the alley?

When is the last time anyone else definitely saw the baby? Did anyone see him walking and carrying the little one before the assault? Obviously there were witnesses AFTER the fact... but none before?
