Oh gotcha. I guess you all can tell my 'babies' are all grown up already. When mine were little they had 'swing seats' that bounced up and down on elastic pulleys. lol Thats what I was imagining.

Like a Johnny jump up that you hang from a door frame? They're still around, I doubt that's what they meant though, Delano definitely would have been too small for one of those!!

There are so many things that can go 'wrong' when watching a newborn baby. Especially if the caretaker gets really stoned and has sleep deprivation. Tiny babies die very easily and I don't think all parents realize that this is so. They need CONSTANT attention and supervision, and even then, you get some close calls. Mine almost choked on a penny when she was not even one.

It is very possible that a sudden accident happened. Something as simple as choking on vomit in his sleep, or suffocating while napping together. And then a frantic coverup may have occurred. jmo

That swing seat makes me very nervous because one month old is pretty young for a swing seat, isn't it? I doubt the baby's neck was strong enough yet if he was in that seat and being pushed back and forth. jmo

Baby swings recline and gently rock side to side or back and forth, Usually with music and a mobile. They have a 5pt harness and come with removable head/body support inserts. They are lifesavers!! Two things all new parents need: a swing and a Keurig ;)

OK, this, THIS, is the thing I wanted to say and feared to say. You lose ONE infant with one parent, OK, that could be tragically bad luck, you lose ANOTHER one with a different parent??? I just.....I know officially both he and the mother are still victims and WS is a victim-friendly site. But, damn. :(

Yep. How often does lightening strike twice, right?

I'm mobile, so can't check Twitter. Can someone else check to see if there are pics of the house search or any case updates?

Wish I knew what leads the detectives are working on. I wonder if the mom knows or suspects what happened to her baby. I hope she can give some valuable info to the police

If the father or both parents are somehow involved, I hope they can solve this one. Seems like there are so many cases of infant abduction or foul play that never get brought to trial because theres just not enough evidence or the baby is not found. :(

I could be wrong, but I vaguely recall somewhere within WS it being said women are more likely to dispose of a body in water. Can anyone confirm that with more detailed info?

http://fox59.com/2014/09/02/police-...st-side-in-connection-with-missing-baby-case/

Monday night, evidence technicians shot video and removed swatches of carpeting as Wilson and the baby’s mother, Taniasha Perkins, walked out of the home. Perkins and another relative were removed to IMPD headquarters for another round of questioning, as Wilson sat on the curb and buried his head in his hands, refusing to speak to detectives without a lawyer present.

Neighbors who have been interviewed by police and watched the drama play out on their street are perplexed by the lack of urgency at the home of Delano’s family.

“I’d probably been my own little detective. I’d be crying and screaming and hollering and trying to find out any little detail I could. I’d be raising hell literally,” said Christina Richey, a mother of two girls... “Me, as a mom, I would be beating on every door looking, being as nosy as I could without actually breaking the law. It’s tough because people grieve different but, me personally, I would’ve been raising hell trying to get answers what happened to my child.”

Indianapolis police are searching the area of Little Eagle Creek today for any trace of missing 6-week-old Delano Wilson.

Officer Rafael Diaz, a spokesman for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, said at about 5 p.m. that the search is part of the department's ongoing investigation of the baby's disappearance first reported last week.

Diaz said officials will be in the neighborhood tonight searching every possible location for clues that may lead to the location of Delano. He added that today's search was not motivated by any new information or a specific break in the case.

LE said they will be searching every possible location "in the neighborhood" tonight. That speaks volumes to me ...

Map makers can you please add this new search location to the maps? TIA

I think its interesting that mom is cooperating and answering questions, but dad refuses to talk without a lawyer. Initially I thought mom might be involved, but now I wonder if she just suspects the father and is helping the investigation.
