It has been a month since Donna Mitchell has went missing. We have interviewed many people, have searched every conceivable route from Hartsville to Letts and have even done an aerial search complements of ISP and still no leads.

She was last confirmed at the Brown Bottle liquor store in Hartsville around 8:00 pm on the night she went missing. She was documented by video walking out the door and has not been seen since.

We are still pursuing differing investigative avenues. We ask if anyone has any information to please come forward-no matter how significant or insignificant you think your information is. We also ask that property owners between Hartsville and Letts search your property for anything that may have been missed. You know your property far better than anyone and could see/find any anomalies much better than anyone.

Silver Alert: Silver Alert Search Results

When I go to IN Silver Alerts at the above link, I am unable to find her in the feed as I scroll through each one. When I search her name within the site, there is not an active silver alert for her either.

I wonder who she was visiting. I wonder if her liquor store purchase can provide any clues to what she was planning for the evening.

I am not on any social media so can't reach the family, but they might benefit from knowing that Donna is NOT profiled on NAMUS. Seems that search has been very localized, and with her in a car....

"Three years ago, Donna Mitchell left the Brown Bottle Liquor store in Hartsville, got behind the wheel of her maroon Chevrolet Trailblazer and drove off the face of the earth. Despite more than two years of searching, neither she nor her vehicle has been seen since.

At the time of her disappearance, a statewide Silver Alert was issued in hope of finding the 60-year-old woman from Hope. Police searched ponds and lakes, searched any area Mitchell had been believed to be traveling, searched from both the ground and the air — no traces of her or the maroon SUV were found."

"The Decatur County Sheriff’s Department still hopes to bring a conclusion to the case of missing Ms. Donna Mitchell and has assigned additional investigators to the case who are actively pursuing both old and new leads."

Apparently the Decatur County Sheriff is unaware of NaMus -- or 'too busy' to register her on the database.
