Thank you for the great picture! I wish someone was on the ship now and could recreate SA scenario as far as height , arm extension etc.

These were done in December on the Voyager of the Seas.
I hope this helps. 5C55FD32-359D-4C1D-8F68-690F24C2075F.jpeg7306FE9C-3036-4B6A-B4DA-E40584764311.jpeg6C174CB8-520C-4A37-88BA-7500850E34DB.jpegF0535AF6-1DB1-4D02-AA26-3446056B694A.jpeg

Under magnification you can see how high he lifted Chloe above his head and over the rail.
That’s crazy! That’s not even nessasary for him to lift her that high to get her over the rail. The rails are stomach to lower chest range, depending on how tall you are. To lift her that high and then go straight forward is pretty much guaranteeing that her whole little body will be lined up with the opening of the window. Good Golly...

As much as it pains me to admit ... this does not look like an accident.
Imo.
No way, no how.
He lifted her over his head to place her on that thin metal window ledge.
To make sure most of her tiny body including her legs were dangling outside that window.
My god what a monster.

The majority of his senses failed him that day. His sense of touch, sight, sound, smell...

It is baffling. This complete failing of senses makes me strongly suspect some type of mind altering substance was used.

Because the WIND. From everything I could find the higher you are the stronger the wind feels, and being that high by the water there is always a breeze.

Was he so incapacitated he was unable to process this?
Or - more likely - he's lying through his teeth. This is why I hope the jury in both the criminal trial and the civil one will be taken to the site so that they can see the windows and feel the breeze, so they can decide just how plausible his claim that he thought the window was closed really is. Oh, and also, just so they can see for themselves how very high up that window is and can visualize SA placing a small child in that window.

In AS’s interview he stated, “She is down by the window looking out the glass. I knelt down... we always like at a hockey game we would bang on the glass and it was fun so when I knelt down to be with her at that level and I couldn’t reach the glass really...only with my finger tips so I knew she couldn’t either so that’s when I decided I would pick her up...”.

My questions are: Why couldn’t he touch/reach the bottom glass? And if he knew he couldn’t reach the bottom glass, why would he think picking her up and placing her on the railing would allow her to “better reach/bang” on the glass?

In my opinion, it sounds like an “after” story made up to “explain away” the public’s question...why didn’t she just bang on the glass below the railing...why did she need to be lifted up to bang on the glass?

There is no barrier preventing a child from reaching the lower level glass (they can easily walk right up to it). The only time Chloe couldn’t reach the glass was when SA lifted her up to the railing. The railing is an obstacle preventing passengers from reaching the middle level glass.

Yes, SA is lying about this.

The windows are closer to the floor and lean outward at an angle so the higher he took her the further the glass was away.
What he says is BS.
IMO.
At floor level the windows are right there at your toes, then at waist height 8” away from the rail.

Exactly! In my opinion, he is making it up as he goes along.

This is all just so bizarre...from the grandfather actions and the grandfather and the attorney’s stories/explanations of the event to the rest of the family‘s actions. It is all quite baffling.

Thank you for these pictures. So, my question is, did SA hold Chloe to the window, and when she fell, did he think that she fell down, and landed on the floor? Instead, she fell forward and out of the window?

How could he watch her fall ‘all the way down’ and then say he thought she’d fallen through that 6” gap. In the clip I did not see him search around his feet. He kept watching out the window until he ‘collapsed’.

I really really don’t want to think it was foul play but....the more I look the worse it is.

Something about the way he says “...and it was fun” rings hollow to me. Why would that be fun to him or Chloe? Such an odd thing to do and an odd thing to say, imo.

Why does it look like there are unfinished 2x4s there and not the metal ledge with track for the window to slide on?

ETA: maybe I am looking at it wrong.

That was my impression. He can be seen in the video taken from the back that he rocks her forward, then back, about twice. If she was sitting on the railing it would have propelled her forward and out the window, instead of straight down into the pocket between the lower glass and the railing.

Just sort of teasing this out - maybe he looked down expecting to see the floor, but instead saw the ground and only then did he realize he was *out* the window, and obviously so was she. Because he was so inebriated?

Yeah, because it was fun for him to bang on glass, apparently. He couldn't reach it and he wanted to bang on the glass, too.

If she was sitting on the guard railing she would have fallen between the space between the railing and the window sill, unless her legs were outside, imo.

He still was banging on the glass when the mother come upon him immediately after losing Chloe, trying to show that even he could not break it.
