I went down the same rabbit hole early on too. I thought the same thing as you and I didn't think he fit the murder profile. However, as I mentioned in my post a couple minutes ago the hand signs in several of the photos stood out to me. Sometimes I have to remind myself that anybody can paint a pretty image of themselves on social media or online.

I am glad that Halee's family didn't have to wait an excruciatingly long time for an arrest. It would be devastating enough to have your beautiful daughter taken from you but not knowing by who or why would significantly add to hurt, anger and frustration.

Let's hope that justice is served.

i'm not defending him but good people people sometimes just lose it and kill. i'm betting this was a crime of passion, so i don't think he's a diabolical male jodi arias. he really screwed up and still has to pay.

Good people can lose control over their emotions. Some solve it with prayer or meditation. Some may walk deep into their backyards and scream. My sister cleans her already spotless home.

Good people screw up when they turn North when they should have gone the other direction. Good people screw up when they continue driving their vehicle after the gauges indicate the vehicle is low on fuel. Good people screw up when they purchase a gallon of delightful mint chocolate chip ice cream knowing full well that they will enjoy the irresistible crème glacée as quickly as they can empty the container.

Good people do not obtain a gun with ill intentions. Good people do not carry the loaded firearm with the purpose of assassinating a beautiful young lady. Crime of Passion. No. This final act of fatal violence perpetrated against Halee was premeditated.

I'm trying to pinpoint when HR and IH started dating from their Twitter feeds but the best I've got is that they were together September to October 2016, not sure how much before or after that. It appears that he even lived with her or stayed at her place and had a key at least. I'm assuming they met at USI since they went to high school nearly an hour away from each other.

I scanned thru his tweets and it looks like she was liking his tweets up until almost the date she was murdered. The last one I saw was April 17th

I found his social media early on from a FB rabbit hole and thought he seemed too well-adjusted to be the suspect! Especially compared to some of the other kids in the area with long records. I guess you can't judge a murderer by his carefully crafted social media presence.

I have not been able to access the Warrick County court records - Warrick doesn't seem to be on the system many courts in Indiana are on which allows you to pull records online (https://public.courts.in.gov/mycase/#/vw/Search). Anyone have any luck?

But just based on the LE release, I thought the robbery charge involved Halee, to make it felony murder. Maybe he stole her phone or wallet after the murder?

Courier Press is reporting that the probable cause affidavit will not be completed until Monday, and IH is expected in court later this week. Hope this reporter stays on top of it and posts all of the original documents released on the Courier Press site.

JMO but my assumption is that it has to do with the stages of legal proceedings against him. Like there might be a preliminary charge, then a hearing, then the charge is either dismissed or he is formally charged.
