Found Deceased IN - Jacqueline Watts, 33, Columbus, 3 March 2017

Curious about the timeline:
Who reported her missing/late from Indianapolis? Reports say "relatives"
What time was she expected home in Indy?
What time were the pets dropped off at the parents/in-laws? Did she stay and visit? What time did she leave their house?
How long had her car been in the road?
I realize we may not know all these things yet, but I am curious about this since the car was reported and she was reported about the same time. Seems if she would have had time to get to Indy but hadn't, her car would have been in the road for 30 minutes to an hour or better - depending on how far it is from Columbus to Indianapolis (I really don't know, sorry). Seems like someone would have come along in that time and reported the vehicle, even though it is a residential neighborhood. I'm seeing an odd time gap but maybe I'm missing something?
I've been wondering that as well. I thought that it was reported once she didn't show up to Indianapolis to meet her husband as expected and she was not answering her phone. I thought when they called her in as missing, there was also a report of the missing vehicle but not by a family member. JMO. Anyone recall from the press conference?

And jashrema, I am so very sorry. Good grief, this evil must be stopped.

I am sorry for your loss also. We are kindred souls...Victims in away... I was on my way to where my sister worked that night...I pulled my car over and sat in the dark rain awhile and changed my mind about meeting her. I even remember the song on the radio as I sat there. I turned around went home and just sat there while my poor sister was being murdered....

The next day when she didn't come home I went to where she worked. Blood was everywhere. She was gone. He had taken her to an empty house to torture her some more. The details are very gruesome but he slit her throat 5 times in the end...

I am not afraid...she would not want me to live my life in fear... I will not let him destroy me too. I am aware though that evil does exist in this world...It has existed since the beginning of time. (Read your Bible). Do not deny it. But know that good will prevail.

Listen to me...if you would have continued on that night, to your sister's work. He would have claimed 2 lives that night. You being there would not have stopped him. I believe that with every fiber of my being. These killers have a compulsion that cannot be controlled, once it is "in their head" that is it...it won't be denied. He would have killed you both.
Do not think that your sister being murdered was part of "God's plan". God was NOT a part of this equation. God weeps at what people do to each other. It wasn't "God's will" that your sister be murdered. It was all the will of that animal that took her. HIS will, HIS evil.
He would have killed you both. It wasn't your fault. It wasn't your fault. IT WAS HIS and only HIS.

.5 a mile.from her car... Same distance as A and L?

I can't find the other post asking if these two areas can be connected by railroad tracks. In any event, enough time has passed from the previous murders where I assume a transient can walk from one place to the other.

I don't connect the two but it is definitely suspicious. Profiling is using past crimes to predict a present or future one, and it doesn't always work. Case in point: Derrick Todd Lee (serial killers aren't black using past serial killer profiles)..

Hypothetically brainstorming, can one reach this area on foot through the woods or via creek / trail / rr track directly from the Delphi location?

(Skibooble?)

I believe so. Last night I was following the path of the abandoned railroad tracks to see where it went. Pretty easy to follow the old path. Although it does cross barren farmland which someone might notice someone walking...but that could be done at night while hiding under tree cover by day. I have been looking up past murders and am seeing so many close to rr tracks. I live in Texas out in the country and tbh I am a little freaked out myself going outside at night. I think today or tomorrow I'll start making a map of everything I find that's unsolved lately and see what I can come up with. Texas had a rr killer a few years back. Scary sad world we live in.

Is there a chance this our biggest lead on BG yet? Please LE give us an official ruleout, I'm dyyyyyin over here.)

Yes this is why I can't believe they won't start the autopsy until tomorrow!

Also just throwing out there..since I used to work for a company that dealt with trains and train crew....sometimes when the crew brings the train...and the load isn't ready...the crew leaves until the train is loaded/unloaded and ready. Not saying any of these cases involve rr crew but it's something to note.

One can tap another car's bumper and leave no sign of damage.
So, so far LE has not commented on if there was any damage to her vehicle.

Many years ago I lived in a different state with a RR track at the back of my yard. The train only came twice a week and I of course had a 6 foot hurricane fence back there. I can't remember which killer it was, but there was one using RR tracks in the general geographic area. I had two dogs, so felt ok, but you better believe I left the yard lights on, and locked the storm doors and doors each night.

Which way was her car facing? Was the driver's side street side, because if so she would exit passenger side. And if her adrenaline was pumping like I gotta get this dog before it gets hit it seems plausible to leave her purse in a moment of panic. Just sayin from experience, when I see a dog in the middle of the road I freeze, do irrational things, like

cause 4 car pile ups

Curious here, did you actually cause a four-car pile-up? If so, you surely are a good person and a great dog lover. :shame:

This is a very tough spot to be in here today. With LE in the process of their investigation, we have no idea if this was an accident or not. And I hate to go off on a tangent if there is no connection...what kept me up last night was flashbacks of when WPD officially announced and linked the attack on the adult female jogger to the murder of Little Jessica. I'm having thoughts of potential triangles, possible red herrings, just need to know asap, has foul play been ruled out, yes or no.

If my DH was the coroner, you can bet your bottom dollar I would have made him go in for this autopsy. Maybe he/she is out of town this weekend?

The parishes in and around New Orleans do autopsies 24 hours a day. Of course, much larger area apparently..

( I did and it was totally stupid, never got the dog, I stopped my car right in the middle of the road like an idiot, thank goodness nobody was hurt, just bumpers, and they didn't come after me. It's like I just freeze up, adrenaline starts pumping, anyway, I'm all ears to Jashrema's post about not doing such stupid things!)

(And thanks, I have found rescued fostered and adopted out many doggies, strays, to happy new homes and families.)

Who is BG?

BG means the Bridge Guy who is a suspect in murdering Liberty German and Abigail Williams. There is a thread on here about it...if this is a murder it could be connected...

I find it highly unlikely the two cases are related. Except a state and river the two are totally different.

Could be. I hope this is the case for Jacqueline's sake.

Last post here for now.

What will LE say. It's got to be one of 3.

A. We have been able to positively rule out any connection to the Delphi murders of Abby and Libby. There is absolutely no connection.

B. Our investigation is ongoing and we can not rule out anything at this time. Everything is on the table.

C. We have established a link.
SABBM

Have they spoken to the husband for an alibi ?
Is it possible he Jacqueline's husband had a mistress and wanted his wife gone ?
Sounds way out there... but Scott Peterson's in-laws supported him for a while.

Did Jacqueline have a lover , and maybe JW tried to end it --and the other person took it badly ?

This is meant with no disrespect to the deceased... after spending an inordinate amount of time here at WS, many cases have to do with someone known to the victim (if we have a victim here) --- or some type of domestic situation gone wrong.

Or someone pretending to need help -- or possibly a person impersonating a law enforcement officer ?

Have they looked at her phone and social media history ?
Is there a link to her Facebook ? (I haven't tried to find her FB -- so if someone has a link)

This seems less like an attempt to rescue a dog, and MUCH MORE like an ambush !

Hope those who cared for Jacqueline get answers and are not left wondering. :(
