Found Deceased IN - Jacqueline Watts, 33, Columbus, 3 March 2017

BG means the Bridge Guy who is a suspect in murdering Liberty German and Abigail Williams. There is a thread on here about it...if this is a murder it could be connected...

Good lord.
If this is connected--- we may have a great lead on A &L's case !!! Wow.

Which would make me somewhat furious about the old comment of the community "... not in danger..." (paraphrased ).
OF COURSE there's danger to SOME community. As long as BG is walking around free as a bird.
Just doesn't make sense; imo.

But I'll take answers however they manifest themselves.
What a horror if BG did this.

Looking at the photos of Jacqueline... she was 33 but looked somewhat younger ; imo. Very slender and pretty; and maybe someone mistook her for a younger person ??
:moo:

I have an update from family who know Jackie's parents and the neighbors. No one is suspecting any kind of malice. In hindsight the police used the word suspicious too soon. It was just a terrible, terrible accident as she tried to save a stray. There's actually a pretty steep drop off where the woods meet the river. She fell or hit or head or something and tragically was found just a few feet from where her parents live.

Hopefully this puts minds at rest.

Don't forget Teresa Sievers whose DH got friends to kill her. We have discussed a lot of cases where a seemingly innocent "to the point of disgust if anyone dare suggest it" husband turned out to be the one LE was looking for.

I don't think that is the case here, but I also think it is ok to point it out

That is not an update though. That is what the woman on FB said. And then LE issued a statement not to believe rumors on FB.

And actually, the distance makes no sense either.

Its awful for her family either way and we are all hoping she didn't meet her fate violently.

You may consider becoming a verified insider, especially if this update is coming directly from conversation with those close to her or LE and beyond what's reported on SM.

That statement was issued before that post on FB and was regarding other rumors (bloody man in woods which was an unrelated incident, etc).

The woman posted that on FB on Saturday (yesterday) at 10:52 am (CST?). Plenty of people started reporting that as a fact (chasing dog, fell in river, hypothermia, drowned).

LE issued a statement Saturday (yesterday) at 3:51 pm (cst?) stating detectives are continuing death investigation. "We continue to see posts on social media speculating on specifics of the case" and then asked for the public to be mindful of the comments made online and that they will release "accurate" updates as the investigation progresses. No, that statement was released on Friday night at 9:48 pm by columbus PD on their facebook page. "...False reports circulating... injured person in the woods.."

Jackie's husband was in Indianapolis, waiting for het to get back so they could leave to head to the airport to catch a plane for Washington D.C.

I don't care what town you're in, I can't imagine anyone would leave their purse, phone, etc. in a running vehicle with the door open to follow a dog or animal that needs help down to the river. It would take virtually no extra time to grab your stuff or at least shut and lock the car door.

I'm still thinking that unfortunately this is a suicide. The only thing that makes me think it could be other mode is that she has her hazzard lights on. Who turns those on before committing suicide?

But what in her behavior or anything about her suggests she was depressed, mentally ill or suicidal? She just dropped her animals off so she could catch a flight on a trip with her husband. No reports she was unhappy or had problems. Seem so to love life.

And people typically don't leave doors open to their cars and hazard lights on when they've walked somewhere closeby to kill themselves. I've never heard of anything of like that.

So sorry for your losses, AFTM and Jashrema.

So true, one cannot live in fear constantly. At best, one can be mindful though I am the first to admit that is not always possible especially in sudden instances when something is least expected to happen.

I am a strong advocate of women carrying a can of mace or a gun with them in their handbags for self-defense.

And believe me, there is no way my daughter would be found just a few feet from my house the day after she went missing. Her family would have found her on Friday if that was true.

Yes, and Dr. Sievers's husband was in Connecticut with her family when his hired hands killed her in Florida.

Not that that has anything to do with this... only that we can name plenty of cases....

Just got back from taking my dog again to the very spot in the Flatrock. We went in the river.

This is what I said she looks very young...not her age....Liberty actually weighed 200lbs. This woman is quite a bit smaller...

Think about it...

Thanks. I had not seen the statement yesterday at 3:xx p.m. EST btw.

I would say that includes references to her being murdered, fears being spread about a serial killer on the loose, etc which I personally saw a whole lot more of than the one other post. It sounds like they want to wait until the autopsy to confirm COD, which is pretty standard, particularly if they do not have obvious sign of crime/ murder and thus no need to warn the public. JMO.
