Funny that somebody that was arrested for child of his underage girlfriend beats up a guy in there for a sex crime (and attempted murder).
Not funny haha tho.

My guess is the opponent is a lot younger. JBC is a true tough guy, but he's also middle-aged. Still strong, but perhaps with reflexes not as fast. His opponent might be half his age.

I don't think this put any fear in JBC, though. He'll fight again.

I sort of thought the same then wondered, when her 18th birthday is?
I mean, the law being what it is, a 17 year old is not at all the same as a 9 year old.
Not that I'm going to defend anyone in jail for breaking the law, but dang, too bad for JC.
Not. He deserves much, much worse.

Don’t hold your breath. IMO, it could be quite a while before we know anything. Hopefully not, but LE said no POI will be publicly excluded until there is an arrest (paraphrasing, let me know if you need exact quote).

There is a lot that they will need to do, process items collected in SWs, more potential DNA analysis, potential fiber analysis which is a very meticulous process and could take a while, investigation into phones, all electronics, his timelines and trips, interviews, contacts, follow up his whereabouts & locations, cross check JC against what they have already, ETC., ETC. They will cross all t’s and dot all i’s - they can take their time to build the case, IF he is BG, as he is already in custody and not going anywhere.

So, imo, it may be a while until we hear anything, IF we even hear anything. Imo.

I think I remember Chris Watts saying in one jailhouse interview with LE that he thought he was going to get killed in prison...ARS who killed Jessica Ridgeway, and also James Holmes theater mass shooter all got transferred out to other locations, IIRC. I expect this may happen with whomever is charged with the murders of Abby and Libby due to the high profile nature.

Re: last sentence, obviously we will know if there’s an arrest, but if there is not an arrest, we may not hear anything from LE, hope this makes sense.

Yep, I've just watched a couple of good documentaries on YouTube about this. Look for Operation Ore, and Operation Cathedral (Wonderland Club) if you are interested. I think both were produced by the BBC, and are well done, IMO.

I would just automatically consider that his pictures and applications are focused on children and since we have a timeline started not to go back to those and remove anything from your computer or phone, just btw.

BBM this guy may have been real mad that he’s in jail for something he did with his consenting girlfriend when the guy in his cell (JBC) attacked a 9 year old. I’ll reserve my personal opinion about dating 17 year olds but they are above the age of consent. I doubt he knew there was a different law for images.

I also wonder if this was the first time JBC had anyone in his cell with him.
Also, since this case is pretty well known, the other guy might not have been able to just sit back and play nice.
