Tried finding something on the trial - but coming up with zero - @FrostedGlass - any updates for the trial?

Tuesday, Sept. 24th:
*Trial continues (Day 2) (Sanders case) (@ 1pm CT) - IN (under Javon Blackwell) – *Maurtreyviaum “Troy” Sanders (19) (Nov. 6, 2018, Marion) – *Lemere Joseph Jones (29/now 34) charged (1/29/19) with murder, conspiracy to commit armed robbery & armed robbery in connection with a death. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. Grant County
Blackwell murder - had bench trial on 3/10/20-found guilty & sentenced on 4/3/20 to 200 years in prison. Earliest release date 7/28/2168.
Sanders’ Trial began on 9/23/24.

Sure. I think anyone in the US can access the court site.

I should have added IMO when I said 'rescheduled'. Since it's been rescheduled 15 times and there is no information about the jury selection, I'm assuming it's not happening today.

I do not see WHY he doesn't just plead guilty - he is already doing 200 years for the Blackwell murders.... :rolleyes:

Well - it looks like it is just me & you @FrostedGlass - there was @Laughing back in Feb. of 2024. Went back to the beginning of the year....

Maybe we should just forget about this case - what do you think? Both have already been sentenced for the "primary" victims - the Blackwells - eh?

As you know, it's really time-consuming to do updates. If no one comments or likes, then it seems like a waste of time and space.

I think they must be waiting on another case, in which one or the other is coopering with the prosecution.

I figured it was when I looked at my notes! :) Yes, this is it.
for Jackson - Blackwell murder found guilty sentenced to 120 years in prison. Earliest release date 1/21/2154.
and for Jones - Blackwell murder - had bench trial on 3/10/20-found guilty & sentenced on 4/3/20 to 200 years in prison. Earliest release date 7/28/2168.
