I can tell you this is just a few miles from my home, so if you need a local perspective, I can help.

They are saying he went missing from Crawfordsville, but he actually was near Waveland when he originally went missing. He might be carrying a guitar. There have been unconfirmed sightings of him in between Browns Valley and Waveland as well as in Crawfordsville and again on the 24th near Nucor (factory).

I read he may have shaved ONE eyebrow as well. I hope this boy comes home soon and safely.

Mom is saying he has a mental illness. Shaved head and one saved brow.

I wondered why the Silver Alert I received noted that he was "believed to be in danger". It also noted that he "may be disoriented and require medical attention". As a mom and a nurse, those words greatly concern me. I shared his missing poster on my personal FB page as I'm about 20-25 minutes NE of Indy. Hope he is found safe - and soon!!!!!

I'm
thinking they may believe he may be a danger to himself.

There have been plenty of sightings, so it gives me hope that he's still safe and will be returned home soon. It's been cold these last few days, so hopefully he's found someplace warm to sleep at night.

Hey everyone! He's still missing. It was warm and rainy all day today and yesterday, but tonight the temps are getting cold and they are calling for snow tomorrow. I hope he's found somewhere that's keeping him dry. It seems sightings have pretty much stopped, so I don't know if he's left the area (there's an Amtrak station in Crawfordsville, but not many other options aside from hitchhiking or walking) or if he's hiding out. The weather hasn't been terrible, so I'm trying to remain optimistic.

There is a search on Saturday. https://www.facebook.com/events/1816382505294818/permalink/1818183788448023/

From the event page- Attention:there will be a group search for Kaden Cravens at Deer Mill at 1pm on Saturday the 11th. We are asking for all the help we can get.

I assume they will be meeting at or near the covered bridge on 234 or at the canoe rental, but I've sent a message to verify, will update if I hear back.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe a psychic advisor has organized this search because of a vision he had. So... I don't think it's based on any real sightings. That being said, KC's mom says they've been to the area and it's in between where he went missing and unconfirmed sightings. I will be going, only because I don't think many people are out looking. I'm trying to at least get a friend or two to go with me, but have offered up 7 free seats for the round trip.

They are doing a great job getting flyers up all over! I saw several in Crawfordsville last night. I've been trying to keep in touch with Kaden's mom and told her about KC's post here.

If you plan on going to the search(not sure how many locals there are on here) and you are not familiar with the area, please note that the terrain can be a bit rugged in that area (it's just north of Shade's State Park for reference). They are calling for rain Sat. evening and with all of the rain we've been getting and potential snow tomorrow, it's probably going to be a muddy, slippery mess. It's supposed to warm up again at least. It sounds like they might possibly search Shades and Pine Hill, so it should be mostly trail walking.

If you're even semi-local, would you mind sharing the search info with his flyer? His case isn't getting much attention and he deserves to be returned to his family and to get the help he needs.

Family now confirming it was him. I suspect it won't be official until Monday after autopsy, but thought I would update with what I knew for those following.

I wonder how far this is from where he went missing?

Approximately 16 miles, but I don't know where exactly he went missing from (just that it was around Waveland) or where he went into Sugar Creek. There was an unconfirmed sighting of him just a bit over 2 miles east of where he was found, but I think he'd been missing around a week at that point.
