I'm bringing some of the charge/phone info forward. The earliest of his charges is 05/14/2016 so can we conclude all 4 of the following devices held no charging value do to their last date of usage?

Where did the evidence for all of his 2017 charges come from?

Kline, who faces more than two dozen counts related to a child investigation, requested that his trial be pushed back until May 2023, according to a motion filed this week in Miami County Circuit Court.

As it stands, Kline is scheduled to go on trial in January 2023, with the final pretrial conference set for Dec. 22, 2022. In the motion, his attorney indicated that the “parties are currently engaged in negotiations” and requested a continuance.

Prosecutor Peter T. Diedrichs was aware of the request and had no objection to the motion, according to the filing.

They get pushed back for a lot of reasons but who knows with this one? After 2 years, one would think they would surely be ready to go to trial by now.

Maybe, because of the clean-up the prosecution is doing, the defense needs ample time to re-evaluate their case. Maybe, after the cleanup, they will re-think the plea deal. There's just so much to this case that we don't know. Maybe some others will have better ideas.

It's really great when they live stream court appearances because you know exactly what's going on. It should be mandatory for the higher level crimes.

Are you saying you think KAK was at the murder scene and cut someone's throat? Or did RA cut someone's throat because KAK told him to do the murder that way?

Although I wasn’t enthralled with this segment (first I’ve listened to MS), I found it chilling that KAK made the comment about cutting her throat and also the, “bleed out.” It’s exactly what I imagined happened to poor Abby and Libby knowing the CS was bloody . I wouldn’t take a leap and say KAK was involved with the murders but it would seem that KAK and RA fantasize about the same things, and one went through with it. What I do wonder is, did the two ever communicate directly online? They didn’t necessarily know who each other was, but I just cannot believe that there was no link. I suspect RA knew the girls were going there or were already there. He didn’t live far and it was likely learned through some online method, whether the pic Libby posted or the anthony_shots account. JMVHO

Didn't listen to this podcast, so just want to make sure Im understanding correctly, he was catfishing her, (was it under the anthony_shots acct with the male model's photos we have seen?) And he met up with her (and her friend) in person and they continued to chat online after that?

My own takeaway from that--your mileage may vary--is that someone said publically that KAK catfished girls, actually physically met them at times, wanted to be alone, and had a violent temper. All of that is fairly interesting and concerning, though I agree that there doesn't seem to be any direct link to A&L's murders.

From the time he was in custody to Jan 2021, there were several other misc hearings, and routine court matters. As you can see, over the past 2 years, many hearings and jury trial dates have been delayed/continued/rescheduled. Looking at other CSAM cases in the news, in Indiana, this is not unusual. I don't see any correlation between these continuations and any events in the Delphi case. ISP Carter already said that the (5) charges being dismissed had nothing to do with the search of the river.

Repeating hearsay of someone who claimed to have heard KAK talk about cutting a throat, and then mentioning how the girls were murdered by suspect RA is for what point, if not to imply a link? If they ever communicated online, I think it is far-fetched that it somehow influenced RA's method/tools of murder.

The only thing we know for sure that KAK fantasized about was getting nude photos and videos of girls. He had a lot of CSAM material, which he admits to using for sexual gratification. He has never been officially accused/suspected of SA and his DNA was taken more than 5 years ago.

RA is a completely different animal. RA is charged with sadistic, sexually motivated murders. This type of murderer fantasizes about hunting and killing for sexual gratification.

It is an assumption, and one many of us likely share, that this was a "sadistic, sexually motivated" crime, where the killer "fantasizes about hunting and killing for sexual gratification." But that is not necessarily what he has been charged with, specifically, that we know of yet. I would be surprised if it was NOT a sexually motivated crime, but...

KAK has already admitted to catfishing. Other than this female, no one has said he met with anyone in person.

Doing the math, this now 21-year-old person is saying that when she was 14, after knowing KAK online since she was 12, met him at a "packed" public park with her friend. She later got a Facebook message with the alleged threat from KAK.
Supposing KAK got angry because Libby brought a friend with her, does that mean he was actually at the bridge? How would that result in RA killing the girls, if they are in cahoots?

But that is not necessarily what he has been charged with, specifically, that we know of yet.

There is no separate murder charge for him deriving sexual gratification from the murders. I would argue it was premeditated, even if just from when he saw them on the bridge, and that he had weapon(s) on his person. A plan to take them where they were discovered was not just made that day, in my opinion.
If one accepts that the brutal murder and disrobing of the victims is sexually motivated, in my opinion, it should be realized that this is done by a certain type of killer. A predator.
