Seems an odd time to run away though...with no bags packed, having made no big withdrawals, after having a few drinks and being very tired late at night. Do runaways commonly leave under those conditions?

I have been very curious to hear the ex-husband's thoughts so this is very interesting. You often see the friends and family of the victim feel very strongly one way whereas the husband or ex-husband's family has a very different perspective. Hadn't even been able to find out his name so I have heard absolutely nothing from him.

I found his name by looking through Courier & Press birth records. I don't know how long they were married because it shows her maiden name for both of their children and her youngest was born in 2010. They started the divorce process in 2012 and it was finalized in 2013 so they weren't married very long but they had their first child back in 2007 so they were together for longer.

Has Texas Equusearch been contacted by her family, I wonder?

Are there any state parks around there?

I think it is highly unlikely that she just up'd and ran off.

And if she did, much like Ricky Ricardo would say "Lucy, you got a lot of Esplainin' to do !! "

Texas Equisearch has been mentioned to her family several times and the fact that the family has to be the one to request them but I have heard no mention of them contacting them or bringing them in.

It would be really helpful to know when the cleaning guy finished. Did he clean the bathroom before she used it? Or did he clean afterward and totally miss the phone? All the reports I've seen say that her phone was found in the bathroom the next morning by workers who came in. Either he didn't clean very well, cleaned up too early (before the patrons were all gone) or he knows more and made the mistake of not hiding the phone.

Per fb, there's a storage unit down the road where someone reports having seen suspicious, middle of the night behavior on more than one occasion while driving past there and coming home from work. Probably not a good place to hide a car, but could hide a person there for a while. If it's right down the street they could have gotten to the VFW by foot.

I have a question I haven't seen asked yet... Was the cleaning guy still at the bar after Kristy was gone? Did he leave while the bartender and manager were in back too? Is he involved, or did he see anything?

Nothing has been made clear, as far as I know, about who left when as far as the employees.

Read post #343, page 14-- by IndianaMom--- she addresses that in her opening sentence. She is also a local in that area.

This is absolutely bizarre. There is no activity on her personal accounts, so I find it unlikely she ran off. I'm not saying suicide is not an option, but I find that unlikely as well. I do find it likely that she turned around to get her phone, or someone took her while the bartender was in the back

Any reports of possible police impersonations in the area?

I would check all the walmart and mall parking lots.

Imo, her car should have been found if she was grabbed...even if "carjacked". Usually the vehicles turn up, Imo.

Does her home have a garage? Did she normally park in the driveway, or garage? Could someone have been lying in wait for her there?

Just want to bring this forward again. According to her mom, a manager and cleaning guy were there. The manager and bartender went to do the deposit and when they came back she was gone

Sorry. Posted my reply on the wrong post...

Hi Cluciano  :cat:

I hear ya here, the vehicles usually turn up (Alexis Murphy, etc etc).

Can we remember any cases where this was not the case, for brainstorming purposes...I can recall DM hiding TB's car in his mom's garage, iirc...(totally different type of case, though)...what other cases?

If this is an abduction, and the person was not on foot...that could indicate 2 perps, one needed to drive her car....again, there have been some attempted abductions in that state (posted upstream) on children involving 2 perps...

Has anyone here found any potential links yet between any of these missing ladies?
