She could have went to someones house and met with foul play. They would have to dispose of her car. A stripper pit would be the most likely place.

Still, if this is a suicide (and I feel deep, deep down it's not but what do I know?), I won't even know what to think anymore. I am sticking to two theories--accident OR abduction from the VFW after she went back to get her phone or by someone she knew as an acquaintance. Glad to be posting with you again though Think squared. ;). I appreciate your sweet words!

:), texasgirl2!! And I agree with you, re: horrible suicide consideration...this case seems really...I don't know -- what is the right word? -- it just seems "quirky," I guess. That's probably a dumb word. But it doesn't seem to align with some of the factors I sensed with the Huston case...but what do I really know as well?!? When it comes down to it, it's often about secrets that people keep -- either the victims or the perpetrators.

I am just really concerned on the timeframe aspect on this one. :(

I also think it shouldnt be overlooked that there was an argument lster defined as small dispute at the last lace she was seem the very night she goes missing.

I TOTALLY agree.

That fact that the car hasn't been found yet is a major clue. Still, I can't stop thinking that this is most likely an accident where the vehicle hasn't been found.

When I was a kid, one of my favorite Ball Players was Pitcher Milt Pappas. After he retired, he and his family moved to a nice Suburb of Chicago. One day, his wife and her car disappeared. A cloud of suspicion hung over him but he was never charged anything. Years later, his wife's car with her remains was found in a small pond in a park a few blocks from their home. On a Saturday afternoon, she had mis-negotiated a curve and driven into a small pond. No one saw it or noticed tire tracks. People who went to the pond to feed the ducks never saw the car in the shallow, murky water.

This sort of thing happens more than people realize. There appears to be few places where this could happen right in the Town of Boonville but if she left the town, the possibilities are endless. Often vehicles leave the road without leaving tracks or disturbing vegetation. Two particularly vulnerable places are at bridges that cross streams at odd angles or piers or docks that can be driven on and mistaken for a roadways. Once a car leaves a roadway, it can travel a considerable distance if it doesn't hit something solid.

Was there anyone Kristy might have wanted to visit who lived in the country or in another town? Did Kristy sometimes go for drives when she need to "think"?

Yes, and I am sorry, but can I say just HOW MUCH I want to know what this "small dispute" was about?????

I am hearing the same. Now if LE could just release a tiny bit of this information so we could talk about it, that would be TERRIFIC.

Truth be told, I don't just want a "tiny bit" of info -- I want the whole darn file!

LOL. I hear ya! But I'd be satisfied with them releasing a tiny morsel of information for us to discuss out in the open. Right now I think there is way too much that is off limits and it's buggin' me.

The dispute is still just a rumor...but something must have happened, Imo...

I thought the friend confirmed it by saying it wasn't a fight but a small dispute?

Yeah, I'd be grateful for just a "crumb" or two of info too...agreed, it's buggin' me as well! I guess when LE has exhausted possibilities, they will release more info. I just hope the silence means they know much more than we do to break this case!

The small dispute isn't a rumor (to me) as I saw one of the people involved call it that on fb. I suppose that makes it rumor for the rest of you, though, if you didn't read that. It was deleted. What is a rumor is the people (whom I don't know who they are) say they witnessed it and it was more than a small dispute.

Yep a guy said he heard there was a big argument between the female friend her fiance and Kristy and the girl said "i would hardly call it a big argument, more like a small dispute". Exact words i read it to and then it was deleted.

No matter if you saw it on FB or you just heard about it, it is considered a rumor. If it was never in the media, then all we have to go by is someone's say-so on FB, without any way to verify it. So for the sake of WS it is considered a rumor. Just because something is a rumor, though, that doesn't mean it isn't true or believable :-) just to confuse the issue.

I understand that completely. Honestly I do! BUT, in this instance, the person that supposedly got into the "dispute" with Kristy was the one to say that it was just a "small dispute". So that's why I kinda thought that it was more than just something in the rumor mill. KWIM?

Sorry, I'm an idiot! I said Old National but meant the other bank that is on the block. She was coming up 62 and was seen passing the Methodist church. If she stayed on that road, she would have passed Boonville Federal Savings. I suppose she could have turned onto Fourth and went back the other direction, would would have definitely put her back on Flint St. where they picked her up (possibly) behind TF, but if she went around the square, I think she should have passed that one bank, which has a security camera. There are actually two banks over there, and then Old National down a block.

Old National was also checked, if I remember early discussions, to see if she stayed on 62 and went out towards Evansville and that is where I heard they found nothing. I assume there was nothing on the Federal Savings bank camera either but now that I think about it, I didn't hear anything specific about that bank or the other one near the square.

Oh yeah yeah, i gotcha now. I completely forgot about the other two banks. You're not an idiot, honest mistake, i was just trying to figure out where you where and got confused.

I dont know about you but i will be glad when they figure something out. Weird chatting with another boonville person on here because we most likely know each other or at least know mutal people. I've been websleuth junky for a few years, never thought in a million years we would be discussing something local on here!
