Too often the mother of the helpless little ones claims ignorance, or fear of the boyfriend-- when it's
not impossible to escape when he is away, or better yet --
not date him and invite him into your home in the first place !!!

Did HL turn a blind eye ?
Since they're charging her as well, does LE think she may have exaggerated or even lied about being afraid of BB ?
I looked around but cannot find a photo of Augustus.
Here's a thought --- did he strongly resemble his bio dad and did that infuriate BB even more ?
Has the bio dad spoken up yet ?
This seems to be a familiar story... mom breaks up with the bio dad, get a new boyfriend.
Boyfriend kills the kid(s).
