Why would his heart be broken? He is still in touch with his mother who put up the bail. Many children have separated parents and don't become paedophiles because of it. There is no excuse. He had best just plead guilty so his family do not have to go thru any testimony IMO.


I don't really get it but it was a no contact order so I'm unsure how that affects things but working together would be a no-no. MOO

Wonder if he was the BG witness referenced in this article? Maybe he said he saw someone on his drive to work or whatever & gave a description of BG #1.

me too, except the PC in April works better with my #1 POI from the religious angle. everything else works better with this guy, including motive, and the possibility there were others (in training? - with more motive) waiting "down the hill". I certainly hope LE has taken custody of the items that could relate to the crime that were sold online after the crime.

Just thinking long and hard on the April Delphi PC and it seems to make a lot more sense to me now. I'm waffling on ditching my #1 POI and moving on to another.

I'm ignoring the religious part with regard to it pertaining to the killer as I think that's just DC expressing his own personal spirituality which is his way of coping with this despicable crime. And perhaps also out of respect for the beliefs of Abby and Libby. JMO

It appears some of you posting here know a lot about this guy to know that his father was at the PC. How do you know that?

My husband's family got split the same way, girls to Mom, boys to Dad. At 50 yrs-60yrs they still hash this out in regular sibling conversation. It was traumatic to them as kids.

I still don't believe it would cause someone to become a paedophile. We all know people who have had a traumatic childhood but how many of us know a paedophile caused by it? I could be wrong of course as we don't always know who the paedophiles are till they are exposed.

I can’t sleuth family but you all were talking about motive or reasons someone would do this —e,g, upset about past family split. A lot of abusers were victims themselves. Certainly no excuse & would not think it should impact his conviction or sentencing. My heart aches for his kids — hope they have a good therapist and a lot of support.

The truth is almost all people damaged by their parents try to do better for their children and others. A few are selfish, and blame their past to get a pass for doing things they know are wrong.
