IN - Mom tries to outrun train, kills herself & 2 kids

  • #21
....Example driving down the highway going 5 miles over the speed limit and then some dumb@$$ flies right up on your bumper then zooms around you like a bat out he!! and continues to weave in and out of traffic *sigh*

Wish people would slow down some and not be in such a hurry. Our roads would be a lot safer.

My ex used to try to chase down these people to give them the finger. I always just shrudge my shoulders and say "Let them have their accident somewhere else."

As my grandmother says "They are an accident looking for a place to happen."

Mygirlsadie, yes it was horrible for her.I remember once we were like 14 15 years old and she spent the night with me.I woke before she did and I was going to wake her up to see what she wanted for breakfast...anyway she was crying in her sleep.Of course that freaked me out and I woke her to find she had been dreaming of her mom :(

Your grandmother is very wise because that is soooo true

Oh that is great to hear. And while she lay there dying I hope the memories of those last moments in her children's lives haunt her every last breath!

The mother was irresponsible, but I hope she doesn't die. The remaining children are going to need her to get over the deaths of their siblings.

They know it was their mother's fault. How much can she really be there for her children? I am not one to wish death, but I don't think the living children would be best living with their mother at this time. Obviously the mom is going to have life long issues regarding this - whether this accident was intentional or not. She was negligent in this situation, and probably will be in the future.

If there is any justice in this world she will die a slow and painful death or suffer her entire life for this. WTH is wrong with people. i hate waiting at trains too, it sucks, especially when the stop and back up then stop again. I had much rather live than out run them though.

I hope the police charge her with some kind of count of murder, or at the least, reckless homicide. Outrageous. >:(

She didn't expect that her kids would die. Yeah, it was dumb to try to outrace a train, but I don't feel sufferring any more than she already is would be a fair justice unless she INTENDED to hurt or kill her kids.

..SHOULD have known the risks, yeah, but obviously didn't think it would turn out this way.

I guess so. I wish stupidity could be punished at times.

We are all punished by our own stupidity.

Prayers and peace for this family.

2sisters I understand how upset you are believe me I am too...but I also think that if this lady survives that she is going to wish she was dead. Her suffering and guilt will probably be too much. I am not making excuses for her believe me I have 3 kids and I adore them more then I can ever put into words but sometimes unfortunately human beings make the stupidest last minute choices that end up like this.......:(

I would never hope she would die but I dont think she would be in any condition to help the other two right now. Seems that she needs to help herself before she can help them.

If she were a drunk driver and killed someone would anyone here say that she does not deserve more suffering?

The fact is that reckless is reckless and if it causes a death then it needs to be punished.

There is just absolutely NOTHING so important that you must try to out run a train so BIG Deal if your late for something??
It happens!

The fact is if this was deaths caused my a drunk driver no one here would have sympathy.
What this women did was just as much as illegal.
