IN - Mother Interrupted Assault In Child's Bedroom

Gee, now can we start protecting our border and our citizens......oh I forgot...big business needs cheap labor so the heck with the rest of us....

The mother and brother of this child showed great restraint, because there is no way that I would have. That rapist, would have been dead. Even if someone in my house called 911, it takes a minimum of 11 minutes to get to my house out in the country. If the sheriff is in the opposite end of the county, I would have additonal time to kill the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

This guy needed killing. It's just going to be later rather than sooner. General population should do the trick. I would not have been able to restrain myself, but my GSPointer would have taken great delight in doing some serious damage.

I like to think I'd be in the same camp as those who say he'd be going out in a body bag. I don't have an 18 year old son to help me out - but I've heard of Mom's wrestling alligators to save their kids - so I think I could take him out.

The restraint the family showed, while doing what was necessary is beyond awesome, though. Really.

Wow...

I would have lost it. It's stories like this that wake me up in the middle of the night to check my doors. And I'm a big guy. You break into my home and it will be your last act.

Sad thing is, this guy is probably illegal. He'll get deported cause the jails are getting filled with illegals. He'll come back within 6 months and he'll commit a crime far worse than this one.

I just can't imagine what kind of issues the little girl will have later on in life..How do you explain something like this to a 5 year old? :(

  • #27
I can't help but wonder how and why they restrained themselves. I wonder if they are illegal immigrants themselves and didn't want to get in more trouble by harming this guy. I don't know, just random thoughts.

Not everyone has the wherewithall to kill someone. It takes a strong stomach at the very least, I'd imagine. Plus, the mother would have been the fiercest angry - but probably was dealing with a distraught child at the time - priorities change from anger to consoling a child at that point.

i agree.i think i could kill him, but with a hurt child i would be torn between the desire to kill him and the need to comfort my hurt child. i cant blame a mom who reacted with rage and killed the monster. i also cant blame a mom who overcome with the pain of her child did not kill him.

A man who police said raped a 5-year-old girl in her Indianapolis bedroom before her mother stopped him was charged Monday with several felonies, including child molestation.

Jesus Valenzuela, a 19-year-old Mexican national who police said may be in the U.S. illegally, was charged with class B and class C felony counts of child molestation, a class A felony count of burglary, and two class D felony counts of theft.

I guess I'm a little confused as to why he's only being charged with molestation when they are saying that he raped her. Wouldn't a rape charge carry a harsher penalty??

Just FYI, I'm not blaming the family for not acting like I think I might! He best be counting his blessings, though. It could have ended much worse for him!

I never for a second thought you were blaming the family for their reaction. Goodness knows, as long as they didn't just stand there or run away, they did the right thing.

Poor baby. I bet the mother doesn't sleep well at night for a long, long time - and even though it's unpredictable exactly what course of action I'd take, I do know in the aftermath, my baby would be sleeping in my bed every night after. (Mine was a family bed baby from birth to age 5 - but I mean after this.)

Same here, Glitch. I can't even imagine what they must be going through.

How odd if the molestation charge refers to the rape of this little girl. When I read the article, I assumed that one of the several felonies was rape, and that the molestation charge was in reference to another child, I thought "Oh, crap, we'll be hearing about other little ones he has hurt"......but I went back and re-read the article after reading your post, and it doesn't say that at all. Now I'm confused. He raped this little girl, rape surely carries a much harsher penalty; I don't understand the molestation charge at all.

Until you are a victim of assault and rape and realize how horrid life is, everything is words. She will need help and thearpy to attempt to recover.
Poor baby. I think he should be killed. No reason to keep him alive, he's a worthless piece of garbage. You can't change him. So kill him. Let her family do it. Sorry to be cruel, but that's the way I feel.

The nerve! How could you be so relaxed on breaking into someones home, choosing your severely unsuitable victim and actually becoming sexually aroused? How is that? This sort of person cant be cured by a spell in jail as punishment. They need to be kept away for good from the public. This has made me feel truly sick.

We reverse and remand for resentencing. (Don't worry guys, he got the same sentence. They just took out the part of the sentence that had been suspended and left the same amount of time to serve)

snip

On August 24, 2007, Valenzuela entered a home in the 6000 block of Sunwood Drive in Marion County. Valenzuela placed several items found in the home in his pockets. He then proceeded into five-year-old A.H.’s bedroom and forced A.H. to have sexual intercourse with him. A.H.’s mother awoke to a noise shortly thereafter and went to A.H.’s bedroom, where she discovered Valenzuela. A.H.’s mother, along with her other children, then subdued Valenzuela until the police arrived. A.H. later learned that, as a result of Valenzuela’s sexual attack, she had contracted Chlamydia.

My thoughts exactly! WTH??? I bet the mom and brother are wishing they would have just taken this filthy pig out when they had the chance, he's getting off easy.

Who cares about some crap he put in his pockets - he stole the innocence of a five year old baby girl!!
