I am the Detective who has been working this case for six years. There is so much more to this which I have not put out.

Interesting item from the UK probate register. Possibly no connection, but FWIW.

Hi! I do live in Cleveland, one county away from Lake. Do you know the actual boy's father's name/which home he was in in Ohio? Feel free to ask if you need anything from out here.
Paul Monroe Harrod. I’ll have to look up the name of the home again. I appreciate it! I’ll let you know!

@Minnie27, can you find anything about employees? Group picture of employees, holiday picture with employees, any time before the Indiana marriage?

Neighbors? Apartment buildings nearby?

LOL, I didn't even look on facebook because I thought there really was something called "Crackbook" that I didn't know about so I didn't know where to start. .... Still LOL

Well, I Googled "Crackbook" thinking it was an alternative to FB! Just came upon this case tonight. Fascinating! I was almost to the point of obsession with the FLEK case. I live near where she did and even had my husband asking his co-workers if they had heard anything about her or the Ruffs. I love that there are Verified Insiders posting here!

Case is skeletal remains about half an hour from where the car was auctioned. Body found November 1993. Longer hair and a beard. No good sketch at the moment. I mean...they have a cartoony sketch up. But the height and location match potentially. The time from actually being missing to body found would match up with the changes. The link is to unidentified person #UP517 in Namus. Thought I'd take a crack at the idea he might have been deceased shortly after going, and being reported, missing. Editing to add: My thinking is this. It's a wilderness based location. People like to go and "get away" but don't really think things through. Some folks are looking at "what if he was 🤬🤬🤬 criminal and went on to do 🤬🤬🤬" so I thought...what if he parked his car in a lot, thinking about abandoning the life and wife and died somewhat innocuously and his car got towed and sold when it went unclaimed? and this is what I came up with for the moment. I know it doesn't help solve the "who is he" but it's more "what happened to him".

Sorry, is that a type of vehicle or ? is what I was wondering lol.

"He had another Social" … as in "Social Security Number". When the GMAC creditor showed up to the house and spoke with the deserted-wife, that is when she found out he had another social security number / was not who he stated he was.

Could our Paul have gone to the U.K. and died there in 1993? Kept the same name because he figured his wife was too meek etc to look for him?

Question for Detective: did the fake Paul ever obtain a passport in that name?

I didn't 'get' the Crackbook reference at first either! Glad I wasn't the only one lol.

Listened to the podcast. Do we know what YEAR the real Paul's father started living at the assisted living facility in Willoughby? Was it prior to 1985?
