It was a bad storm with large hail, spectacular thunder. I ran outside to get my cats, terrified, into garage. I can't imagine a poor dog terrified in back of pick up truck with that large hail coming down. So glad this was posted as truck owner sells dogs...
There was another earlier incident with same driver.

But Blake Heidelberger, the dog’s owner, had an explanation for the picture. He told FOX59 he was out and about when the dog got into a pond and ended up soaked and dirty. Heidelberger put the dog in the back of the truck for the ride home.

He said once it started raining, he stopped at an underpass and moved the dog to the cab of the truck. He said the dog wasn’t out in the rain for long.

Thats the best explanation he can come up with? The dog wasn’t in the rain for very long?:facepalm: Even that lame explanation sounds like a lie. Of course the dog was soaked. Because it was in the rain in the bed of the pickup.
