The state filed a bond request form in which they undoubtedly requested that the bond amount be: "No bond". Their request appears to have been granted.

Short on facts, long on speculation. Because I don’t understand why the 29 year old victim would go anywhere near the suspect’s apartment considering his 18 year old girlfriend had earlier filed a protection order. Plotting to steal a car and keys is all for naught if the victim had refused to have anything to do with TJ, which in the normal course of events would seem prudent.

I had a fleeting thought maybe RM went over to pick up things that SR left behind if she’d recently lived in that apartment and left because of the incident involving the protection order. I’m curious how long SR and RM had been involved in a relationship because this all seems like it might be similar to a love triangle that ended horribly wrong.

TJ presumably graduated with his Delphi Community High School Class in June 2018. Maybe he was living in Lafayette already, but it seems unlikely.
MOO he enrolled in Purdue met SR dated did drugs dropped out got a job, did more drugs.
Speculating that SR tried to leave him, he got violent, appx. Dec/Jan. SR requested Protective order in January. Court moves slowly so SR got a protective/no contact order on 3/11. So how did TJ and RM and SR all fit together? RM may have met SR normally or as the GF, or as a victim trying to get away from TJ.

MOO just an idea from TJs background,
it would be somewhat logical.
But also maybe he just opted to move to Lafayette and get a job. SR attended Purdue - so that was a MOO idea that TJ did too.

It’s believed TJ planned to murder RM. It almost appears as if he was expecting to get arrested.

How a Lafayette murder suspect planned to kill his ex’s boyfriend, according to an affidavit
“When Jasper, 19, went to work the third-shift at Arconic late May 22, he told two women — one of whom is identified in the affidavit as his girlfriend —staying the night at his Pheasant Run Apartment to be gone by 7 a.m. the next morning, according to the affidavit. He told them he would get a ride home from work from Martin.

The women left before 7 a.m., and later that morning, Jasper contacted his girlfriend and said Martin had left the apartment, so she and her friend could come over to his home, according to the affidavit...

......When the women returned, he told them he threw away the couch cushions and would buy new ones, according to the affidavit......

........Police got a search warrant and found Martin's body in Jasper's bedroom closet, along with the blood-stained couch cushions, according to the affidavit....”

Same link as above - whether or not TJ was driving RM’s vehicle he must’ve used his garage door opener to gain access. SR calling LE right away most likely saved her life. Terrifying for her. TJ accessing RM’s home in that manner must’ve leaned heavy suspicion toward him right off the start. One thing we don’t still know is motive. As TJ had a new girlfriend it’s probably not jealousy. That sure does make me wonder....did either RM or SR know of incriminating information connected TJ to the Delphi murders of Libby and Abby?

Renn called police to report the home invasion and to report that Jasper violated a court order protecting her from Jasper.
